Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFeeding by Logistic Feed (Mash, Silage, Pellet and Wafer) Compared with Conventional Feed on Physiological, Blood Biochemical and Body Weight Gain Recovery in Tropical Sheep Pasca TransportationYuli Retnani, Anuraga Jayanegara, Sazli Tutur Risyahadi et al.The process of transportation of animals from one to another area can lead to stress. Animals tend to reduce feed intake which then affects animal performance, so palatable feed is needed, with high energy content, and can speed up the body weight recovery process. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of logistic feed (mash, silage, pellet, and wafer) compared … …American Journal of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Vol. 17, Issue 2 · 25 Jul 2022 · 6,222 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEvaluating Plant Species Suitability for a Substrate-Free Tropical Green RoofBruno R. Silva, André Mantovani, Dulce G. Mantuano et al.Greenroofs reduce building exterior-interior thermal flux and mitigate high internal air temperatures, especially in tropical climates. Tropical greenroofs are given little attention and their use remains restricted to a very low percentage of roofs due to high costs compared to traditional roofs, weight overload (mainly due to the chosen substrate) and potential waterproofing problems. We here present an alternative greenroof … …OnLine Journal of Biological Sciences, Vol. 18, Issue 4 · 11 Oct 2018 · 7,523 accessesView PDFCite
