Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleOn the Need of Source Address for Route-Error Delivery in 6LoWPANShafique Ahmad ChaudhryLow-power Wireless Personal Area Networks (LoWPANs) comprise devices that conform to the IEEE standard 802.15.4. These networks need to be connected with other wireless and wired networks in order to maximize the utilization of information and other resources which are mainly associated with the Internet Protocol (IP)-based networks. The transmission of IPv6 over Low Power Wireless Personal Area Networks (6LoWPANs), … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 8 · 15 Nov 2015 · 6,286 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsVarying Overhead Ad Hoc on Demand Vector Routing in Highly Mobile Ad Hoc NetworkV. Balaji, V. DuraisamyProblem statement: An inherent feature of mobile ad hoc networks is the frequent change of network topology leading to stability and reliability problems of the network. Highly dynamic and dense network have to maintain acceptable level of service to data packets and limit the network control overheads. This capability is closely related as how quickly the network protocol control overhead … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 5 · 7 May 2011 · 6,997 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractTAGN-IDC: Implicit Discrete Constraints for Tsunami Aware Graph Neural Networks in Spatial Evacuation RoutingSularno, Wendi Boy, Putri Anggraini et al.Tsunami evacuation route requires rapid identification of safe evacuation paths under dynamically changing hazard conditions. A major challenge is incorporating hard binary road-blockage constraints caused by tsunami inundation while maintaining end-to-end differentiability for deep learning models. Existing approaches commonly rely on continuous relaxations or stochastic sampling techniques, which either compromise physical feasibility or increase computational complexity. This study proposes the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 9 · 24 Sep 2026 · 704 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHuman-Centric Design Integration in UAV Interfaces and Operational Procedures for Enhanced User ExperienceArun Chakravarthy R., Arun M., Sureshkumar C. et al.Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have become essential tools across numerous sectors, including agriculture, disaster response, search and rescue and logistics. While UAV capabilities have rapidly evolved due to technological advancements, the integration of human-centric design principles remains a key area for further improvement. This article provides an in-depth exploration of how user-focused design considerations can enhance UAV interfaces and operational … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 4 · 3 Mar 2025 · 5,237 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Dynamic Approach for Rate Adaptation in Mobile Adhoc NetworksPalaniammal Senniappan, Suganya SubramaniamA Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes with no fixed infrastructure. The absence of central authorization facility in dynamic and distributed environment affects the optimal utilization of resources like, throughput, power and bandwidth. Rate adaptation is the key technique to optimize the resource throughput. Some recently proposed rate adaptations use Request to Send/Clear to Send … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 6 · 8 Jun 2013 · 6,673 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFlooding Attack Aware Secure AODVS. Madhavi, K. DuraiswamyProviding security in a Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a challenging task due to its inherent nature. Flooding is a type of Denial of Service (DoS) attack in MANET. Intentional flooding may lead to disturbances in the networking operation. This kind of attack consumes battery power, storage space and bandwidth. Flooding the excessive number of packets may degrade the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 1 · 27 Feb 2013 · 7,535 accessesView PDF Cite

Literature ReviewOpen accessIn the abstractSurvey and Comparison of Operating Concept for Routing Protocols in DTNKawakib K. Ahmed, Mohd Hasbullah Omar, Suhaidi HassanDelay Tolerant Network (DTN) are promising techniques to enable data transmission in challenging scenarios where sophisticated infrastructure is not available and the end-to-end path does not exist at the moment of data transmission. These networks are characterized by a long delay, intermittent connectivity and high error rates. Furthermore, the dynamic topology of the network may change randomly. Therefore, routing is … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 12, Issue 3 · 23 Apr 2016 · 7,362 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractANN Based Prediction of Effect of Reinforcements on Abrasive Wear Loss and Hardness in a Hybrid MMCP. Sathyabalan, V. Selladurai, P. SakthivelProblem statement: The reinforcements added to an alloy lead to variation in properties. The content and size of the reinforcement influences the properties of composites. Very little research has been carried out in hybrid composites. Work on hybrid LM6 aluminium alloy metal matrix composites (MMC) with flyash and SiC has been initiated here. The effect of the four parameters, size … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2009 · 7,551 accessesView PDF Cite
