Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleDeveloping a Linear Quadratic Regulator for Human Lower Extremity Exoskeleton RobotSk Khairul Hasan, Anoop DhingraDuring the last two decades, exoskeleton robot-assisted neurorehabilitation has received a lot of attention. The major reason for active research in robot-assisted rehabilitation is its ability to provide various types of physical therapy at different stages of physical and neurological recovery. The performance of the robot-assisted physical therapy is greatly influenced by the robot motion control system. Robot dynamics are … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 6, Issue 1 · 23 May 2022 · 7,602 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsControl of Twin Rotor MIMO System using PID and LQR ControllerSeema Chaudhary, Awadhesh KumarControl design of a TRMS system such as helicopter is very complicated task. Since the TRMS are very high non-linear system, so its non-linearity too high and the control design is very difficult problem for TRMS system. It has two rotors, the first one is the main rotor and the second one is tail rotor. The TRMS System are based … …Journal of Aircraft and Spacecraft Technology, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 23 Oct 2019 · 7,634 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsAn Optimal Control Approach to Inventory-Production Systems with Weibull Distributed DeteriorationMd. Azizul Baten, Anton Abdulbasah KamilProblem statement: We studied the inventory-production system with two-parameter Weibull distributed deterioration items. Approach: The inventory model was developed as linear optimal control problem and by the Pontryagin maximum principle, the optimal control problem was solved analytically to obtain the optimal solution of the problem. Results: It was then illustrated with the help of an example. By the principle of … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 5, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2009 · 7,549 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsReal-Time Optimal Control for Rotary Inverted PendulumViroch Sukontanakarn, Manukid ParnichkunProblem statement: The rotary inverted pendulum system was a highly nonlinear model, multivariable and absolutely unstable dynamic system. It was used for testing various design control techniques and in teaching modern control. The objectives of this study were to: (i) Develop a real rotary inverted pendulum which derived the mechanical model by using Euler-Lagrange and (ii) Design controller algorithm for … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 6, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2009 · 7,846 accessesView PDF Cite
