Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleDistribution Key in Eight Bit's Color Image AlgorithmHamdi A. Al-Omari, Malek M. Al-Nawashi, Mohammed J. BawanehProblem statement: The networked multimedia systems have glorified the necessity for image copyright protection. To solve such problem an invisible structure called watermarking is added to an 8-bits color image in aim to mark it. The structure can be added by selecting bits under certain conditions; a few pixels of correspondence between the image and the ASSCI code. Approach: In … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 25 Oct 2011 · 6,991 accessesView PDFCite

Pasumpon PandianProblem statement: Identifying the new lossless image compression algorithm for high performance applications like medical and satellite imaging; a high quality lossless image is most important when reproduction which leads to classify the data for decision making. Approach: A new lossless hybrid algorithm based on simple selective scan order with Bit Plane Slicing method is presented for lossless Image compression … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 8 · 28 Jul 2012 · 7,484 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleImproving the Performance of Backpropagation Neural Network Algorithm for Image Compression/Decompression SystemOmaima N.A. AL-AllafProblem statement: The problem inherent to any digital image is the large amount of bandwidth required for transmission or storage. This has driven the research area of image compression to develop algorithms that compress images to lower data rates with better quality. Artificial neural networks are becoming attractive in image processing where high computational performance and parallel architectures are required. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 11 · 26 Oct 2010 · 8,370 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePerformance Optimization of Discrete Wavelets Transform Based Image Watermarking Using Genetic AlgorithmsA. Al-Haj, A. Abu-ErrubThe excellent spatial localization, frequency spread and multi-resolution characteristics of the Discrete Wavelets Transform (DWT), which were similar to the theoretical models of the human visual system, facilitated the development of many imperceptible and robust DWT-based watermarking algorithms. There had been extremely few proposed algorithms on optimized DWT-based image watermarking that can simultaneously provide perceptual transparency and robustness since these … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2008 · 6,324 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleOptimized Feature Selection for Kidney Ultrasound Image Classification Using Binary Coati Weighted Mean Vector AlgorithmFizhan Kausar, Ramamurthy B.The analysis of medical images presents many challenges, especially when making precise diagnoses. In pediatric Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), early identification is critical because of its gradual progression to significant kidney failure. This study proposes a diagnostic framework for pediatric ultrasound image classification that incorporated machine learning and advanced feature selection methods. This approach is divided into four stages: Preprocessing, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 12 · 22 Jan 2026 · 1,563 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePrimary Color Based Numerous Image Creation in Visual Cryptography with the Help of Grasshopper Algorithm, Artificial Neural Network and Elliptic Curve CryptographySurajit Goon, Debdutta Pal, Souvik DihidarThe two primary restrictions of visual cryptography methods, contract, and security are well-known. Visual cryptography is considered secure if no share reveals information about the secure picture and this image is unreachable when shares are combined. Recursion can be used in a visual cryptography method to ensure the integrity of both arguments. Sometimes, the many shares are generated illogically in … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 5 · 19 May 2022 · 6,279 accessesView PDFCite
