Research ArticleOpen accessDENIAL OF SERVICE ATTACK IN DISTRIBUTED WIRELESS NETWORK BY DISTRIBUTED JAMMER NETWORK: A BIRTH-DEATH RANDOM PROCESS ANALYSISR. Dhanasekaran, G. SingaravelLarge number of low power, tiny radio jammers are constituting a Distributed Jammer Network (DJN) is used nowadays to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) attack on a Distributed Wireless Network (DWN). Using NANO technologies, it is possible to build huge number of tiny jammers in millions, if not more. The Denial of Service (DoS) attacks in Distributed Wireless Network … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 8 · 7 Mar 2014 · 6,802 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessERROR DETECTION SCHEMES FOR FINITE FIELD MULTIPLIERSB. Sargunam, R. DhanasekaranFinite field multipliers are widely used in the field of cryptography for the purpose of scalar multiplication. The outputs of the finite field multipliers may consist of errors due to certain natural radiations which further leads to the failure of the cryptosystems. Here two Concurrent Error Detection (CED) schemes namely time redundancy and modular inversion based error detection schemes for … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 1 · 11 Dec 2013 · 6,913 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessOptimal Energy Consumption to Extend the Lifetime of Wireless Sensor NetworksN. Thangadurai, R. DhanasekaranRecent advances in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) enable us to develop minimum energy consumption clustering algorithms. The WSNs can be used for various applications like battle field, disaster areas and military applications. The most important issue in WSNs is the limited battery of sensor nodes. When sensor nodes are placed in a field, it is difficult to replace their batteries. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 5 · 27 May 2013 · 6,798 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessCross-Layer Design for Reducing the Energy Consumption based on Mobility Parameter in DSR for Mobile Ad-Hoc NetworkV. Bhanumathi, R. DhanasekaranProblem statement: The main idea is to design an energy efficient algorithm for reducing the amount of overhearing based on RSS value in a Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET). Approach: A cross layer framework is designed by combining the physical, MAC and network layer. RSS value is taken from the physical layer and it is used for finding the Mobility Parameter … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 4 · 28 Jan 2012 · 6,814 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessMixed Mode EMI Noise Level Measurement in SMPSR. Dhanasekaran, M. Rajaram, S. N. SivanandamFast switching in SMPS generate large amount of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).The proposed method to determine Common Mode (CM) and Differential Mode (DM) noise of a low power Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) using two-probe approach i.e. using one current probe as an injecting probe and other current probe as receiving probe Common Mode (CM) noise is measured between power line … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 3, Issue 5 · 31 May 2006 · 7,410 accessesView PDF Cite
