Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTEC and Scintillation Study of Equatorial Ionosphere: A Month Campaign over Sipitang and Parit Raja Stations, MalaysiaM. Abdullah, A. F.M. Zain, Y. H. Ho, S. AbdullahProblem Statement: Ionospheric scintillations, which cause significant effects on satellite signals for communication and navigation, often takes place in equatorial region such as Malaysia. However, this disturbance are not fully understand due to few studies performed. This research reports the study and monitoring activity on Total Electron Content (TEC) and ionospheric scintillation in Malaysia using GPS measurements. Approach: One dual-frequency … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2009 · 9,502 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleLeveling Process of Total Electron Content (TEC) Using Malaysian Global Positioning System (GPS) DataY. Norsuzila, M. Abdullah, M. IsmailThe signals from the satellites of the Navstar Global Positioning System (GPS) travel through the earth's ionosphere on their way to GPS receivers. However, ionospheric delay is one of the main sources of error in GPS. The magnitude of the ionospheric delay is influenced by the Total Electron Content (TEC) along the radio wave path from a GPS satellite to … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 1, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2008 · 7,762 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDynamic Weighting Technique Based Arctic Puffin Optimization for Energy Efficient Data Transmission in Wireless Sensor NetworksM. Bharathraj Kumar, S. Avinash, Prakash G. Gani, Prathapchandra ShettyWireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are designed using various sensor nodes, which are employed for communication in diverse applications that include healthcare, industrial areas, and smart cities. Specifically, WSNs demand energy-efficient clustering and routing mechanisms that assist in extending network lifetime due to the limited battery capacity of sensor nodes. However, many existing meta-heuristic-based approaches incorporate fixed objective weights that struggle … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 9 · 10 Sep 2026 · 767 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleOptimization of Non-Technical Electricity Loss Detection Using Artificial Neural Networks: Case of Cameroon Distribution NetworkLekini Nkodo Claude Bernard, Bell Serge Samuel, Nyemb Nsoga Valjacques et al.Non-Technical Losses (NTL) represent a critical challenge for power utilities, particularly in developing countries. This paper proposes an unsupervised deep learning approach based on an autoencoder to detect abnormal electricity consumption patterns in the Cameroonian distribution network. The model learns normal customer behavior using historical consumption data and identifies anomalies through reconstruction error analysis. Statistical thresholds are applied to classify … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 19, Issue 1 · 23 Jul 2026 · 1,225 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEvaluation of Biochemical Characteristics of Exercise Fatigue and Recovery of Energy and Materials Based on Neural Network TechnologyPeng HuA remarkable feature of modern sports is that the training load intensity of athletes is constantly increasing, and training would bring great pressure to the athletes' bodies. One of the important problems is to improve the performance of athletes and effectively solve the problem of high load and scientific recovery. To use recovery methods meaningfully, it is necessary to understand … …American Journal of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Vol. 22, Issue 2 · 13 Jul 2026 · 903 accessesView PDFCite
