Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleMan in Outer Space Without a Special Space SuitAlexander BolonkinProblem statement: Many people dreamed about a living human in space without the encumbrance of a complex space suit. Unfortunately no scientific research and inventions: How to make it? Approach: Purpose of this research was to initial researching of this problem, necessary conditions, inventions, design needed devices, system and testing them. In this case main problem is how to satiate … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2009 · 9,000 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Method for Transmitting Spacecrafts in Space with Velocity of at Least 0.01 of the Light Speed Using Materials with Very High Kinetic Energy in High Electric FieldsMario Nady AiadMany space new missions are on calendar this decade for Moon, Mars and other planets. Some of these missions are depending on simple reliable chemical thrusters and others on the nonchemical advanced propulsion techniques. In most of nonchemical techniques a nuclear source of energy is necessary as in nuclear electric rockets where the maximum velocity produced is around 20 km/s. … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 16, Issue 4 · 22 Dec 2023 · 5,365 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMulti-Satellite Custody of Moving Ground TargetsDavid SchusterMaintaining persistent custody of ground targets from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) is a key challenge in space-based surveillance and reconnaissance. Traditional rule-based tasking strategies struggle with scalability as the number of assets and targets grows. In this paper, we present a centralized Reinforcement Learning (RL) approach using Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) to coordinate four LEO satellites tasked with tracking two … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 3 · 25 Mar 2026 · 1,575 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractThe TESS Satellite will Search for Planets in the Vicinity of our Solar SystemRelly Victoria Virgil PetrescuThe US Space Agency has launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, the TESS satellite, which will search for planets near our solar system and study them in detail. "TESS will significantly increase the number of planets studied," said George Ricker of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT, before launching. "It will double the number of planets we've seen and detected with … …Journal of Aircraft and Spacecraft Technology, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 23 May 2019 · 6,639 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDevelopment of Porous Ti-6Al-4V Mix with Palm Stearin Binder by Metal Injection Molding TechniqueMohamad Ikhwan Jamaludin, Nur Atikah Abu Kasim, Nor Hafiez Mohamad Nor, Muhammad Hussain IsmailGood potential of biocompatibility and excellent mechanical properties, porous Ti-6Al-4V has become a great interest for biomedical applications. In this study, porous Ti-6Al-4V was fabricated by Metal Injection Molding (MIM) using Palm Stearin (PS) and Polyethylene (PE) binder together with sodium chloride (NaCl) as a space holder. Rheological characterization was performed to evaluate the flowability of the feedstocks for injection … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2015 · 7,564 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDetermination of Natural Frequencies through Modal and Harmonic Analysis of Space Frame Race Car Chassis Based on ANSYSMohammad Al Bukhari Marzuki, Mohammad Hadi Abd Halim, Abdul Razak Naina MohamedSpace frame chassis the preferred choice of chassis design due to its low cost, high strength, lightweight and safe qualities, which made it suitable for a single-seat race car application and an important aspect in the construction of the space frame race car chassis. Key sections of a space frame race car chassis consist of front and main hoops, side … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 4 · 2 Sep 2015 · 9,913 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractROBUST MEMORY MANAGEMENT USING REAL TIME CONCEPTSV. Karthikeyan, S. Ravi, M. AnandMemory fragmentation is the development of a large number of separate free areas. Memory management in embedded systems demand effective implementation schemes to avoid fragmentation problem. Existing dynamic memory allocation methods fail to suit real time system requirements. Execution times need to be deterministic and this motivates the need for allocation and deallocation to be done in constant time with … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 8 · 1 Apr 2014 · 7,488 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractExplicit Allocation Strategy with Deadline and Budget Constraint Algorithm in Bag of Tasks GridM. Suresh Kumar, T. PurusothamanProblem statement: This study is for effective scheduling of grid jobs based on economy for space shared resources in Bag of tasks grid. Grid Computing aims in combining the power of heterogeneous, geographically distributed, multi-domain computational resources to provide high performance or high throughput. Approach: Space shared resources are parallel supercomputers and clusters of workstations that provides a great amount … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 7 · 7 Jun 2012 · 6,229 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractColored Image Compression Using Gradient Adjustment Prediction Based WaveletMuna Faik Hanoon Al-SammraieProblem statement: Uncompressed graphics, audio and video data require considerable storage capacity and transmission bandwidth. Despite rapid progress in mass-storage density, processor speeds and digital communication system performance, demand for data storage capacity and data transmission bandwidth continues to outstrip the capabilities of available technologies. The recent growth of data intensive digital audio, image and video (multimedia) based web applications, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 2 · 25 Feb 2011 · 7,307 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAgent-Based Design for E-learning EnvironmentKhadidja Harbouche, Mahieddine DjoudiWe presented an agent-based e-learning environment. Our aim was to allow many users to interact collectively and intelligently with the environment. In this cooperation model, human users and artificial agents carry out tasks in the learners’ service. We define the internal structure of our kernel supposed to work within Internet/Intranet settings. Design was structured in three parts: individual learning space, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2007 · 6,951 accessesView PDFCite
