Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleUnsupervised Cosegmentation Model based on Saliency Detection and Optimized Hue Saturation Value Features of SuperpixelsRasha Shoitan, Mona M. MoussaSegmenting out the foreground from a single image remains a challenge in computer vision. Image co-segmentation has been used recently to alleviate the single image segmentation by exploiting the information of the common object to be segmented from a group of images having the same object. This research proposes an unsupervised co-segmentation technique based on saliency detection and optimized features … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 17, Issue 7 · 3 Aug 2021 · 7,003 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleInvestigation of the Critical Clearing Time of Power System with Synchronous Machine Model Including SaliencyPrechanon KumkratugProblem statement: Most of synchronous generator applied in power system is the salient pole type. Most of previous researches use non-salient model to evaluate the critical clearing time. Thus the results of critical clearing time of power system may be error. Approach: Thus this paper investigate the critical clearing time of power system with synchronous machine. The mathematical model of … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 2 · 21 Dec 2011 · 7,481 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsOptimized High Frequency Signal Injection Based Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Rotor Position Estimation Applied to Washing MachinesOlfa Bel Hadj Brahim Kechiche, Houda Ben Attia Sethom, Hafedh Sammoud, Ilhem Slama BelkhodjaProblem statement: This study investigates a novel optimized scheme of a High Frequency Signal Injection (HFSI) based sensor less technique in order to carry out a precise and robust rotor position error estimation of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) drive designed for washing machines. The study was carried out for standstill condition, where precise position information was required for … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 3 · 29 Sep 2011 · 9,514 accessesView PDF Cite
