Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMobile Robot: SLAM Implementation for Unknown Indoor Environment ExplorationMohamed Emharraf, Mohammed Bourhaleb, Mohammed Saber, Mohammed RahmounThe autonomy is the most crucial criteria in mobile robots. This operation aims to offer the ability of finding the position and build a map of the environment to the robot. Many methods have been proposed to solve this problem. In this study, an implementation of SLAM approach for unknown indoor environment exploring by mobile robot is proposed. In fact, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 12, Issue 2 · 26 Mar 2016 · 7,301 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsIndoor Navigation to Support the Blind Person Using True Pathway within the MapAbbas M. Ali, Md Jan NordinProblem statement: Map creation remains a very active field in the robotics and AI community, however it contains some challenge points like data association and the high degree of accuracy of localization which are seems to be difficult in some cases, more than that, most of these study focus on the robot navigation, without any consideration for the semantic of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2010 · 6,832 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesImage Pre-Processing Techniques to Improve DBT Classification Accuracy With CNN ResNet-50Qodri Aziz, Slamet Riyadi et al.Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) is a three-dimensional imaging technology that is meant to determine breast cancer more accurately than regular mammograms. But low contrast and noise can make DBT images less clear, which can make deep learning-based classification less accurate. This study seeks to assess the impact of diverse preprocessing techniques on breast cancer classification outcomes utilizing the ResNet-50 Convolutional … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 10 · 21 Oct 2026 · 349 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesVoronoi Partition to Support Data Search in Uncertain Database with k-Bound FilteringSlamet Sudaryanto Nurhendratno, Sudaryanto, Solichul HudaWith the development of mobile technology, one of its main functions is to have mobile navigation capabilities, this is one of the Location-Based Services (LBS). Mobile navigation is designed as a mobile device to be able to monitor access objects from users. Because of the mobile characteristic, the impact on the points of objects to be found always occur a … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 12 · 22 Dec 2020 · 6,645 accessesView PDFCite
Case ReportOpen accessIn the author namesQuery Optimization on Distributed Database Dengue Fever by Minimizing Attribute InvolvementSlamet Sudaryanto Nurhendratno, Sudaryanto, Fikri Budiman, Maryani SetyowatiQuery optimization is an important task in a client/server environment of a distributed database, whereas a health epidemiologist data distribution based on DBD data on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). A proper method for a particular query process function is needed to generate query optimization on a distributed database. The query process requires important attention especially in distributed databases because the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 4 · 7 Apr 2018 · 8,327 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesOptimized High Frequency Signal Injection Based Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Rotor Position Estimation Applied to Washing MachinesOlfa Bel Hadj Brahim Kechiche, Houda Ben Attia Sethom, Hafedh Sammoud, Ilhem Slama BelkhodjaProblem statement: This study investigates a novel optimized scheme of a High Frequency Signal Injection (HFSI) based sensor less technique in order to carry out a precise and robust rotor position error estimation of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) drive designed for washing machines. The study was carried out for standstill condition, where precise position information was required for … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 3 · 29 Sep 2011 · 9,514 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesMyocardial Motion Analysis of Echocardiography Images using Optical Flow Radial Direction DistributionSlamet Riyadi, Mohd Marzuki Mustafa, Aini HussainProblem statement: Myocardial motion is important information for physicians in diagnosing cardiac abnormalities. The motion vector of myocardial can be computed using optical flow technique, which then can be further analyzed based on its magnitude and angle. In practice, physicians are not concern about the angle of vector itself, but are more interested on whether a segment is moving to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 7 · 28 Jun 2011 · 6,635 accessesView PDFCite
