Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDesign of a Synchronous Reference Frame Controlled Fuzzy Logic Based Distribution Static Compensator to Enhance Distribution System Power QualityRekha Sampath, Lokesh Mallaiah, Ashwini A V et al.The demand for enhanced power quality in distribution systems has increased due to the widespread utilization of various AC loads, including rectifiers, inductive loads, and variable speed drives. When these nonlinear loads are combined with renewable energy sources, harmonics are introduced in the system. These can affect the way other equipment in the network works and leave the system vulnerable … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 2 · 27 Feb 2026 · 1,710 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Novel Approach of Satellite Image Enhancement Using DWT Based on 2-Type Fuzzy LogicSurjeet Singh Patel, Vivek Kumar Tamta, Abhilekh Bartwal et al.This study proposes a new approach to enhance the dark and low-contrast satellite images captured under poor illumination. Images are converted from RGB to HSV color space in order to separate the Hue (H), Saturation (S), and luminance (V) components. Enhancement is achieved in saturation and luminance components using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and 2-type fuzzy logic. DWT breaks the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 9 · 15 Aug 2023 · 5,182 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleThe Multistage Fuzzy Logic-Based Decision Support Model to Determine the Salary of New EmployeesGregoryus Imannuel Perdana, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaSalary determination for prospective new employees is critical in determining the level of employee satisfaction that can motivate people. The goal of this research is to develop a decision support model to determine salaries for prospective new employees by combining three methods: Multistage fuzzy logic, and conventional and simple mathematical models. Fuzzy logic is used to calculate fuzzy parameters, while … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 7 · 7 Jun 2023 · 5,275 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleReal-Time Fuzzy Logic Control of Two-Link Flexible ManipulatorsJimoh Olarewaju Pedro, Juan-Paul HynekThis study investigates the development of a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) for tracking a sinusoidal wave trajectory and suppressing the vibration of a Two Link Flexible Manipulator (TLFM). The TLFM was modeled using Lagrange's formalism and the Assumed Mode Method (AMM). A three-part apparatus consisting of a TLFM mathematical model, a real-world TLFM, and control software was designed and implemented. … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 11 May 2023 · 6,169 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEvaluating Waste's Hazardousness using Fuzzy Logic and Simple Additive WeightingTimothy Marcelleon, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaIt is vital to determine the most dangerous types of trash in terms of the environment and human health. The purpose of this selection is to make readers aware of the impact of garbage on the environment. As human knowledge of the environment grows, the utilization of garbage will naturally decrease. The goal of this research is to create a … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 1 · 19 Jan 2023 · 5,604 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Fuzzy Logic-Based Smart Traffic Management SystemsAdel Abdallah Abdou, Mohamed Hassan Farrag, A. S. TolbaTraffic congestion is a serious problem in many developing countrieslike Egypt. In the presence of thetraditional traffic light system, it creates health risks, wastes time andfuel, and pollutes the air. Therefore, there is a big need for a smart trafficmanagement system. This study contributes in solving this problem byintroducing an artificial intelligence-based smart traffic light system usingfuzzy logic to ensure … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 11 · 24 Nov 2022 · 7,180 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePlant Computational Modelling of Green Amaranth Plant for Investment Analyst using FSPM-GroIMP and Fuzzy LogicBakti Amirul Jabar, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaFunctional-Structural Plant Modelling (FSPM) isplant modeling that considers morphology, physiology, and statistical data. Oneof the software for FSPM is the Growth-Grammar Interactive Modelling Platform (GroIMP).GroIMP is a Java-based platform using the XL language, which is a languagedeveloped from System-L. This study aims to build a virtual plant model ofgreen amaranth (Amaranthus Sp.) in a hydroponic planting systemfor strategic decision-making.
