Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleBlockchain Integrated Distributed Threshold Elliptic Curve Cryptography Framework for Scalable and Secure Cloud Data StorageNaga Swetha Dhulipudi, Balaji SavadamThe development of cloud computing offers scalable processing capabilities, thereby enabling organizations to store and process sensitive data in the cloud. However, it faces crucial security challenges, as existing cryptographic and blockchain systems suffer from poor scalability and centralized key management, which creates a single point of failure and introduces vulnerabilities to both quantum and classical attacks. This research proposes … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 11 · 19 Oct 2026 · 395 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Fast Access Big Data Approach for Configurable and Scalable Object Storage Enabling Mixed Fault-ToleranceCarlos Roberto Valêncio, André Francisco Morielo Caetano, Angelo Cesar Colombini et al.The progressive growth in the volume of digital data has become a technological challenge of great interest in the field of computer science. That comes because, with the spread of personal computers and networks worldwide, content generation is taking larger proportions and very different formats from what had been usual until then. To analyze and extract relevant knowledge from these … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 6 · 1 Jul 2017 · 7,888 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAnalysis of the Prospects for Developing Storage and Processing Complexes for Multiformat Media DataVladimir Zhanovich Kuklin, Islam Alexandrovich Alexandrov, Alexander Alexandrovich Umyskov, Abas Khasanovich LampezhevA distinctive feature of multifunctional systems for supporting multimedia services on a single platform is the heterogeneity of incoming streams and requests, which requires optimization of resource use under physical constraints. In this regard, it is relevant to develop promising proposals for the functional structure and technical characteristics of complexes for storing and processing multi-format media data, which was the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 12 · 6 Dec 2022 · 5,577 accessesView PDFCite
Research NotesOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Proposed Framework for Outsourcing and Secure Encrypted Data on OpenStack Object Storage (Swift)Hala Albaroodi, Selvakumar Manickam, Mohammed AnbarDespite the numerous potential benefits of Open Source Cloud Computing (OSCC) in several industrial and academic-oriented environments, OSCC could be also associated with some risks. However, which a proper awareness to the cloud consumers or organisations, these risks can be clearly identify and avoided. OpenStack Swift security can provide a greater understanding of how OpenStack Swift functions and what types … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 3 · 14 May 2015 · 7,004 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsBlockchain Based Solution for Secure and Efficient Agricultural Supply Chain SystemsYassir Farooqui, Syed Ibad Ali, Kush Bhushanwar et al.The agricultural supply chain forms the backbone for feeding the world and supporting economies, but there is always a challenge to it such as traceability, inefficiencies, fraud risk, and poor transparency. Trust is hampered as many traditional systems still depend on manual procedures and distributed data records. So as to overcome the issues and improve the security, overall effectiveness, and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 10 · 28 Sep 2026 · 613 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsDesign and Evaluation of a Blockchain-Integrated Secure Cloud Storage SystemWalde Rajesh Baliram, Bashir Alam, M. N. DojaCloud storage is a critical part of modern computer systems that has a centralized structure, which opens sensitive data to security risks, including unauthorized access, insider threats, and data tampering. In order to mitigate these issues, this paper proposed a novel cloud storage system with built-in blockchain, AES-256 encryption, access control using smart contracts, and a dual-hash integrity check system. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 7 · 22 Jul 2026 · 911 accessesView PDFCite
