Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleModeling of Piezoelectric Actuators Based on Bayesian Regularization Back Propagation Neural NetworkWen Wang, Zhu Zhu, Yanding Wei, Zichen ChenProblem statement: Piezoelectric actuator is a kind of key driving components for micropositioning stages, micropumps, micro valves, micro gripper and so on in the fields of micro/nano technology such as integrated circuit manufacturing, precision instruments, ultra precision fabrication, biomedical manipulation. It has lots of advantages including high stiffness, fast response times, less heat generating, low power consumption and large force … …Current Research in Nanotechnology, Vol. 1, Issue 1 · 15 Jun 2011 · 7,059 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleBayesian Regularization in a Neural Network Model to Estimate Lines of Code Using Function PointsK. K. Aggarwal, Yogesh Singh, Pravin Chandra, Manimala PuriIt is a well known fact that at the beginning of any project, the software industry needs to know, how much will it cost to develop and what would be the time required ? . This paper examines the potential of using a neural network model for estimating the lines of code, once the functional requirements are known. Using the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2005 · 30,191 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleRange Image Segmentation by Randomized Region Growing and Bayesian Edge RegularizationSmaine Mazouzi, Mohamed BatoucheWe presented and evaluated a new Bayesian method for range image segmentation. The method proceeds in to stages. First, an initial segmentation was produced by a randomized region growing technique. The produced segmentation was considered as a degraded version of the ideal segmentation, which should be then refined. In the second stage, image pixels not labeled in the first stage … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 5 · 31 May 2007 · 6,924 accessesView PDF Cite
