Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractTeaching Computer Organization and Architecture Using Simulation and FPGA ApplicationsKasim M. Al-AubidyThis paper presents the design concepts and realization of incorporating micro-operation simulation and FPGA implementation into a teaching tool for computer organization and architecture. This teaching tool helps computer engineering and computer science students to be familiarized practically with computer organization and architecture through the development of their own instruction set, computer programming and interfacing experiments. A two-pass assembler has … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2007 · 7,100 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEfficient Physical Organization of R-Trees Using Node ClusteringF. Sagayaraj Francis, P. ThambiduraiR-Tree is a multidimensional indexing structure that forms basis for all the multidimensional indexing structures based on data partitioning. A number of attempts have been made in the past to improve the performance of R-Tree by manipulating the tree parameters and the data parameters. But hardly any attempt had been made to use external parameters such as disk parameters to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2007 · 6,627 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEOS: Evolutionary Overlay Service in Peer-to-Peer SystemsL. I. Zhijun, Liao MinghongThe peer-to-peer (P2P) systems nowadays can be mainly classified into two categories: structured and structure-less systems based on their overlay organization. The structured systems can achieve determinate efficiency due to their rigorous structure with the cost of losing robustness and vice versa. We provide a semi-structured overlay based on the separation of routing structures and overlay organizations in this paper … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2005 · 6,349 accessesView PDFCite
