Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Novel Reversible BCD Adder For Nanotechnology Based SystemsMajid Haghparast, Keivan NaviThis paper proposes two reversible logic gates, HNFG and HNG. The first gate HNFG can be used as two Feynman Gates. It is suitable for a single copy of two bits with no garbage outputs. It can be used as &#34Copying Circuit&#34 to increase fan-out because fan-out is not allowed in reversible circuits. The second gate HNG can implement all … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2008 · 10,135 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractQuality Monitoring Using Principal Component Analysis and Fuzzy Logic Application in Continuous Casting ProcessSalah Bouhouche, Malek Lahreche, Abdelkrim Moussaoui, Jürgen BastThis paper deals with non linear system monitoring, based on a combined use of Principal Components Analysis (PCA) and fuzzy logic to process and quality monitoring. PCA coupled to fuzzy logic was used to estimate the fault or defect according to the dynamic changes in the process inputs-outputs characterized by T2 Hoteling and Squared Prediction Error (SPE). Correlation between the … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 9 · 30 Sep 2007 · 7,238 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractReal Time Hybrid Controller Implementation for Switched Reluctance Motor DriveS. Paramasivam, R. ArumugamThis study presents the real time hybrid controller implementation for a Switched Reluctance motor Drive. The developed hybrid control law consists of Proportional Integral (PI) controller at steady state, PI-type fuzzy logic controller (FLC) at transient state and a simple logic controller between steady and transient states to achieve desired performance at various operating conditions under soft chopping operation. The … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 1, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2004 · 7,240 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHardware Implementation of Higher Throughput Anti-Collision Algorithm for Radio Frequency Identification SystemJahariah Sampe, Masuri OthmanThis paper presents a proposed hardware implementation of Higher Throughput Anti-Collision Algorithm (HTACA) for Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system. Our proposed HTACA combines a pipeline and a deterministic anti-collision technique in order to enhance its performances. These downlink and uplink operations are concurrently executed during the identification process. The downlink operation is purposely pre-selected a group of tags base on … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 1, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2008 · 7,443 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractQualitative Ferromagnetic Hysteresis ModelingM. Mordjaoui, M. Chabane, B. Boudjema, R. DairaIn determining the electromagnetic properties of magnetic materials, hysteresis modeling is of high importance. Many models are available to investigate those characteristics but they tend to be complex and difficult to implement. A new qualitative hysteresis model for ferromagnetic core presented, based on the function approximation capabilities of adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS). The proposed ANFIS model combined the neural … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2007 · 7,076 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordFuzzy Logic-Based Truck Demand Computational ModelAnugrah Mauludin, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaTrucking is one of the essential aspects linking suppliers and customers in many countries. Services at a trucking service provider will be based on a first-come-first-served basis. When a customer contacts a trucking service provider, there is a possibility that all the truck units owned are in fact being used to serve other customers causing potential delays in their delivery … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 9 · 19 Aug 2023 · 5,468 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordWhale Optimized Deep Generative Adversarial Network Based Alzheimer's Stages Detection Using 3D MRI Brain NeuroimagingR. Sampath, M. BaskarAlzheimer's Disease (AD), a common, chronic neurodegenerative condition, is characterized by the loss of neurons and synapses in the cerebral cortex and specific subcortical regions. According to claims from a recent study, AD has a 20% misdiagnosis rate. Therefore, it is essential to create a useful tool to recognize the stages of AD with a lower prediction error rate to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 8 · 4 Aug 2023 · 5,544 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordSynchronization of Chaos Systems Using Fuzzy LogicMohammad Ababneh, Issa Etier, Mahmoud Smadi, Jasim GhaebProblem statement: This study presented a new and systematic method to robustly synchronize uncertain chaos systems. It was derived based on the observer approach for synchronization, where error dynamics was made asymptotically stable around the zero to accomplish synchronization. Approach: This method viewed the synchronization problem as a control problem in order to make use of the literature available in … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 2 · 25 Feb 2011 · 7,642 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Unique Novel Approach for Design and Analysis of A Robust Decentralized Self-Tuning Fuzzy PI Controller for a Multi Input Multi Output ProcessP. Sujatha Therese, N. Kesavan NairProblem statement: In the real world most of the controlled processes in industries are Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) in nature. They have more than a single controlled variable that should be manipulated in order to achieve the desired control performance. Approach: Control of non linear Multi Input Multi Output processes, it is a difficult task because of the non stationary behaviour, substantial … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 3 · 17 Jan 2012 · 7,004 accessesView PDFCite
