Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleReal-Time Fuzzy Logic Control of Two-Link Flexible ManipulatorsJimoh Olarewaju Pedro, Juan-Paul HynekThis study investigates the development of a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) for tracking a sinusoidal wave trajectory and suppressing the vibration of a Two Link Flexible Manipulator (TLFM). The TLFM was modeled using Lagrange's formalism and the Assumed Mode Method (AMM). A three-part apparatus consisting of a TLFM mathematical model, a real-world TLFM, and control software was designed and implemented. … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 11 May 2023 · 6,169 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEvaluating Waste's Hazardousness using Fuzzy Logic and Simple Additive WeightingTimothy Marcelleon, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaIt is vital to determine the most dangerous types of trash in terms of the environment and human health. The purpose of this selection is to make readers aware of the impact of garbage on the environment. As human knowledge of the environment grows, the utilization of garbage will naturally decrease. The goal of this research is to create a … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 1 · 19 Jan 2023 · 5,604 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleImprovement of Rooftop Solar Panels Efficiency using Maximum Power Point Tracking Based on an Adaptive Neural Network Fuzzy Inference SystemI Made Ari Nrartha, I Made Ginarsa, Agung Budi Muljono et al.Rooftop solar panels are a strategy for achieving Indonesia's renewable energy goals, but their non-linear characteristics make them difficult to control, especially in the face of extreme weather changes. An effective controller is needed to optimize the power output of solar panels. This study proposes a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controller based on an Adaptive Neural network Fuzzy Inference … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 16, Issue 1 · 19 Jan 2023 · 5,769 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Fuzzy Logic-Based Smart Traffic Management SystemsAdel Abdallah Abdou, Mohamed Hassan Farrag, A. S. TolbaTraffic congestion is a serious problem in many developing countrieslike Egypt. In the presence of thetraditional traffic light system, it creates health risks, wastes time andfuel, and pollutes the air. Therefore, there is a big need for a smart trafficmanagement system. This study contributes in solving this problem byintroducing an artificial intelligence-based smart traffic light system usingfuzzy logic to ensure … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 11 · 24 Nov 2022 · 7,180 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePlant Computational Modelling of Green Amaranth Plant for Investment Analyst using FSPM-GroIMP and Fuzzy LogicBakti Amirul Jabar, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaFunctional-Structural Plant Modelling (FSPM) isplant modeling that considers morphology, physiology, and statistical data. Oneof the software for FSPM is the Growth-Grammar Interactive Modelling Platform (GroIMP).GroIMP is a Java-based platform using the XL language, which is a languagedeveloped from System-L. This study aims to build a virtual plant model ofgreen amaranth (Amaranthus Sp.) in a hydroponic planting systemfor strategic decision-making. Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAssessing Potential Investment Return of Basil (Ocimum Basillicum P.) using Fuzzy Logic and Investment Analysis Criteria for Environmental-Based AgricultureHeraldo Yusron Purwantono, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaIndonesia is one of Southeast Asia's most populous and big countries. It was well-known for its richness of natural resources. Indonesia is one of the world's largest tropical countries, because of its tropical environment. According to the statistics, however, arable land in Indonesia has declined dramatically over the years in response to increased demand for residential areas. This data reveals … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 7 · 30 Jul 2022 · 5,738 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDecision Support Model to Determine the Best Employees (Mechanic) using Fuzzy Logic and Profile MatchingHiromi Jorge Akbar Aljofarinski, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaIn a company, verifying the best employees is practically very essential. Knowing the best employees or understanding each employee's performance can be an advantage for the company to evaluate the whole company's performance and improve the lack. Determining the best employees is also necessary for giving appreciation to employees and is expected to be able to expand the performance and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 6 · 24 Jun 2022 · 5,847 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDecision Support Model for Determining the Best Employee using Fuzzy Logic and Simple Additive WeightingLucky Christopher Chen, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaSpecifically, for an information technology company, identifying the best employees (the best programmers) is valuable. The election is intended to improve the performance of the company's programmers. The company's performance will improve as programmers' performance improves. This study attempts to develop a Decision Support Model (DSM) to identify the best employees (i.e., programmers) in the firm. The model considered nine … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 6 · 24 Jun 2022 · 6,100 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleExtended Fuzzy Decision Support Model for Cropland Recommendation of Food Cropping in IndonesiaLucky Christopher Chen, Nurcahyo Wibowo, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaFood crops are the preferred crops to be cultivated on agricultural land in Indonesia, which has a wide area available for use as agricultural land. Each region’s agricultural lands in Indonesia have distinct features (e.g., water capacity, land porosity, land height, etc.).
