Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleSocialMANET: A Publish/Subscribe Events Dissemination Protocol for Mobile Ad-Hoc NetworksMaurice Tchoupé Tchendji, Martin Xavier Tchembé, Innocent Tialo NecheuThe popularization of mobile equipment capable of communicating autonomously nowadays offers the possibility of thinking more seriously about a mode of communication in which stakeholders communicate in an ad-hoc manner and use mobility to convey information. However, due to their mobile nature, such equipments are limited by their low energy and storage capacity. Algorithms designed for them must therefore be … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 9 · 3 Sep 2019 · 7,681 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleQUEUEING MODELS IN MOBILE AD-HOC NETWORKSS. Baskar, S. PalaniammalThe Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) has gain an essential part of the attention of researchers and become very well-liked in last few years. MANETs can operate with no fixed communications and can live rapid changes in the network topology. They can be studied officially as graphs in which the set of boundaries varies in time. One of the main methods … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 26 Dec 2013 · 6,819 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleE2AODV Protocol for Load Balancing in Ad-Hoc NetworksR. Vinod Kumar, R. S.D. Wahida BanuProblem statement: In mobile ad hoc networks there are a number of challenges in providing quality of service routing with energy efficiency and load balancing. Most routing protocols do not consider the problem of load balance. A routing protocol called energy Efficient Ad-hoc on Demand Vector (E2AODV) is proposed. It addresses the quality of service issues such as throughput, end … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 7 · 7 Jul 2012 · 6,832 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleAn Algorithm for Localization in Vehicular Ad-Hoc NetworksHajar Barani, Mahmoud FathyPositioning a node in Vehicular Ad-Hoc networks is one of the most interested research areas in recent years. In many Ad-Hoc networks such as Vehicular Ad-Hoc networks in which the nodes are considered as vehicles, move very fast in streets and highways. So, to have a safe and fast transport system, any vehicle should know where a traffic problem such … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2010 · 7,363 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePerformance Comparison of Two On-demand Routing Protocols for Ad-hoc Networks based on Random Way Point Mobility ModelGeetha Jayakumar, G. GopinathAd hoc networks are characterized by multihop wireless connectivity, frequently changing network topology and the need for efficient dynamic routing protocols plays an important role. We compare the performance of two prominent on-demand routing protocols for mobile ad hoc networks: Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), Ad Hoc On-demand distance Vector Routing (AODV). A detailed simulation model with MAC and physical layer … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2008 · 7,692 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePower Saving Mechanism in Clustered Ad-Hoc NetworksArwa Zabian, Ahmed IbrahimIn wireless Ad-Hoc networks, multihop transmission breaks the single hop path from a mobile node to another, into two or more hops, in a manner that the distances between transmitter and receiver are smaller than that in the direct transmission, which reduces the transmission power significantly. We have proposed the use of graph search algorithms to increase the power remaining … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 5 · 31 May 2008 · 7,117 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleUltra Wide Band (UWB) Ad-hoc Networks: Review and TrendsRashid Saeed, Sabira Khatun, Borhanuddin M. Ali, Mohd K. AbduallahShort-range wireless systems have recently gained a lot of attention to provide seamless, multimedia communications around a user-centric concept in so called Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN). Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) technology presents itself as a good candidate for the Physical Layer (PHY) of WPAN, both for high and low data rate applications. Many ongoing developments of Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) system … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2005 · 7,060 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleA Comprehensive Analysis of Simulated results for the Performance of AODV and TORA Routing Protocols in Mobile Ad-hoc NetworksVelmurugan Thambusamy, Navitha SrinivasanA Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is underpinning less system of movable devices connected by wireless links. Every device in MANET moves arbitrarily on any path with no impediments and this free movement helps in transforming its links to new devices promptly and unpredictably. MANETs do not require a predefined arrangement or centralized administration to interconnect with each other. This research … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 4 · 2 May 2019 · 7,473 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleFuzzy Cost Enabled Cluster Based Multipath Routing Algorithm for Mobile Ad-Hoc NetworksM. Gomathi, G. RajendranProblem statement: This article proposes the selection of best paths in Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) based on multipath routing with fuzzy cost in respect of the Fuzzy Cost Enabled Cluster based Routing (FCECR). Approach: By implementing FCECR, we have made changes to reduce the cost and route discovery overhead for the selection of best path from multipath routing from … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 9 · 9 Aug 2012 · 7,030 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleLocal Beam Search Algorithm for Power Saving in Clustered Ad-Hoc NetworksA. Zabian, F. Al-KalaniAn ad-Hoc network is an infrastructures network consisting of mobile moving nodes. Every node in network performs as a router or a package forwarder. Energy consumption of network interfaces can be significant. There is a relationship between the transmission power and the distance traveled by a packet, increasing the transmission power increases the reachable area at the cost of high … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2008 · 6,539 accessesView PDFCite
