Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsImproving the Attack Detection Rate in Network Intrusion Detection using Adaboost AlgorithmP. Natesan, P. Balasubramanie, G. GowrisonProblem statement: Nowadays, the Internet plays an important role in communication between people. To ensure a secure communication between two parties, we need a security system to detect the attacks very effectively. Network intrusion detection serves as a major system to work with other security system to protect the computer networks. Approach: In this article, an Adaboost algorithm for network … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 7 · 16 May 2012 · 7,461 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA NOVELTY APPROACH OF SPATIAL CO-OCCURRENCE AND DISCRETE SHEARLET TRANSFORM BASED TEXTURE CLASSIFICATION USING LPBOOSTING CLASSIFIERC. Vivek, S. AudithanRecently, the research towards Brodatz database for texture classification done at considerable amount of study has been published, the effective classification are vulnerable towards for training and test sets. This study presents the novel texture classification method based on feature descriptor, called spatial co-occurrence with discrete shearlet transformation through the LPboosting classification. It can be considered as a frame through … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 5 · 11 Jan 2014 · 6,602 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCLASSIFICATION OF DIGITAL IMAGES USING FUSION ELEVATED ORDER CLASSIFIER IN WAVELET NEURAL NETWORKR. Arulmurugan, P. SengottuvelanThe revival of wavelet neural networks obtained an extensive use in digital image processing. The shape representation, classification and detection play a very important role in the image analysis. Boosted Greedy Sparse Linear Discriminate Analysis (BGSLDA) trains the cascade level of detection in an efficient manner. With the application of reweighting concept and deployment of class-reparability criterion, lesser search was … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 9 · 23 Jun 2014 · 6,790 accessesView PDF Cite
