Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleApplication of T-Code, Turbo Codes and Pseudo-Random Sequence for SteganographyAnil Kumar, Navin RajpalIn this study, we propose new technique that will address the problem of robustness and data safety in steganography. The steganography consists of techniques to allow the communication between two persons, hiding not only the contents but also the very existence of the communication in the eyes of any observer. T-Codes used with Turbo Codes generates cryptic and error-coded data … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2006 · 7,081 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleImplementation of a Novel Concatenated FEC by RS and Irregular Turbo Codes on OFDM SystemsA. Shanmugam, A. R. Abdul Rajak, S. Vishwanath, R. UpendraCode Division Multiple Access (CDMA) performs well in a multi-cellular environment where a single frequency is used in all cells. Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) has severe problems associated with multipath and Channel news. One possible problem is that the receiver may require a very large dynamic range in order to handle the large signal strength variation among users. Due … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 5 · 31 May 2005 · 7,042 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA RECONFIGURABLE ARCHITECTURE OF TURBO DECODER FOR MIMO-HIGH SPEED DOWNLINK PACKET ACCESST. Yasodha, I. Jacob Raglend, K. Meena Alias JeyanthiA novel channel based rescheduling scheme for modern turbo convolution code is proposed by the inclusion of suboptimal and low-complex max-log-MAP algorithm. Demands for dedicated custom solutions in mobile communications and its related applications leads to a reconfigurable architecture for Turbo convolution code. This study comprises the design and performance evolution of the proposed reconfigurable architecture for channel coding scheme … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 6 · 29 Mar 2014 · 6,705 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsPerformance Analysis of IEEE 802.16d using Forward Error CorrectionVenkatesh Sekar, V. Palanisamy, K. BaskaranProblem statement: Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access is the broadband wireless technology for terrestrial broadcast services in Metropolitan Area Networks. This BWA technology is based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) technology and considers the radio frequency range up to 2-11 GHz and 10-66 GHz. The objective of this research work is the performance analysis of AWGN, SUI-1 and SUI-2 … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 9 Mar 2011 · 7,343 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsPerformance of Unequal Error Protection Using Maximum A- posteriori Probability Algorithm and Modified MAP in Additive White Gaussian Noise and Fading ChannelT. Gnanasekaran, K. DuraiswamyProblem statement: In this study we propose a method to improve the performance of Maximum A-Posteriori Probability Algorithm, which is used in turbo decoder. Previously the performance of turbo decoder is improved by means of scaling the channel reliability value. Approach: A modification in MAP algorithm proposed in this study, which achieves further improvement in forward error correction by means … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2008 · 6,689 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsTurbo-coding of Coherence Multiplexed Optical PPM CDMA System With Balanced DetectionK. Chitra, V.C. RavichandranThe effects of turbo-coding on the coherence multiplexed optical PPM CDMA systems are shown by evaluating bit error rate (BER) with respect to system parameters such as interleaver length (K), number of simultaneous users (N), code length (f), initial pulsewidth (t0) and normalized threshold (θ) by including the effects of thermal noise and shot noise. Turbo-codes increase the number of … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 5 · 31 May 2007 · 6,620 accessesView PDFCite

SeshasayananProblem statement: This study presents the performance analysis of turbo assisted Interleave Division Multiple-Access (IDMA) system with Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) support for multi user scenario over correlated frequency selective and uncorrelated frequency selective channel. Approach: The key principle of IDMA is that interleaver unique which distinguishes the users in contrast to spreading sequence in Code Division Multiple Access … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 7 · 30 Jun 2011 · 6,837 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordPerformance Analysis of Multi-user Multi Input Multi Output- Interleave-Division Multiple-Access System Employing Turbo Coding with Multi-User Detection over Frequency-Selective Wireless Communication ChannelKuttathatti Srinivasan Vishvaksenan, R. Seshasayanan, Yuvaraj KrishnamoorthyProblem statement: This study presents the performance analysis of multi-user Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) assisted interleave based multiple-access system. In IDMA, different interleavers are used to distinguish users as against different signature sequence in a conventional code-Division Multiple-Access (CDMA) scheme. Approach: The basic principle of IDMA is that the interleaver is unique for the users. Results: In this study, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 2 · 25 Feb 2011 · 6,885 accessesView PDFCite
