Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleSelf-Managed Federation of MQTT Brokers with Dynamic Topology ControlBruno Bevilaqua, Marco Aurélio SpohnThe Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol is most used in Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The protocol implements the Publish/Subscribe (P/S) communication model. Publishers are entities providing data to a server (broker), and subscribers are those showing interest in such data. The standard MQTT scenario relies on a single broker, a potential bottleneck, and a single point of failure. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 11 · 18 Oct 2023 · 5,248 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleLoss Monitoring of Star Topology Sensor Network Based on Scheduling Algorithm for Assessing Structural Health InformationMohammud Ershadul Haque, Mohammud Fauzi Mohammud Zain, Mohammud Abdul Hannan et al.Sensor network is the new invention for assessing civil building structural health information. The new challenge to sensor network: large volume of received data, analyzing result at the computing section, patient coverage area, accuracy and reliability of the system, real time response, optimization development. To cover the entire patient region, sensor topology network is as a key characteristic of Sensor … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 12 · 5 Oct 2013 · 6,726 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleExploring Optimal Topology and Routing Algorithm for 3D Network on ChipN. Viswanathan, K. Paramasivam, K. SomasundaramProblem statement: Network on Chip (NoC) is an appropriate candidate to implement interconnections in SoCs. Increase in number of IP blocks in 2D NoC will lead to increase in chip area, global interconnect, length of the communication channel, number of hops transversed by a packet, latency and difficulty in clock distribution. 3D NoC is evolved to overcome the drawbacks of … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 3 · 12 Jan 2012 · 7,184 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTopology Control Using Efficient Power ManagementS. Karunakaran, P. ThangarajProblem statement: Effective Topology control will improve the performance and the capacity of Mobile Ad-hoc networks by building reliable network structure. Approach: Power level is used as the basis for topology control since it reduces spatial interference while increasing the effective channel capacity and network lifetime. Results: In this study, we design a topology control using efficient power management algorithm … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 4 · 4 Apr 2011 · 6,715 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTopology Discovering and Power saving Mechanism for Routing in a Tree of Ad-hoc Wireless NetworksArwa ZabianPower management in mobile network is an open challenges where the power level in the network influences the network life time. However, there are a trade off between the power consumption and the connectivity in mobile networks. We present a topology control mechanism and a routing protocol for Ad-Hoc wireless networks that chooses the shortest path given the lower power … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2007 · 6,550 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleRoute Optimization using Hybrid GRU Learning Model for SDN and Edge-Based VANET TopologySavitha Kumar, Chandrasekar ChinnasamyIntelligent Transportation System (ITS) offersoutstanding features, including security applications and emergency alerts.Unfortunately, ITS limits traffic control services, adaptability, andadjustability due to the traffic volume. Hence, expanding the standard VehicularAd hoc Networks (VANET) framework is a requirement. As a result, in the latestdays, the concept of Software-Defined Networking based Vehicular Ad hocNetworks (SDN-VANETs) has drawn considerable attention, creating VANETssmarter. The SDN-VANETs … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 8 · 26 Aug 2022 · 6,160 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePERFORMANCE OF TOPOLOGY AWARE RELIABLE ROUTING PROTOCOL FOR LARGE SCALE VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORKJayanthi Gokulakrishnan, V. Thulasi BaiA network which merges the usage of the public and the private networks and uses security software for the purpose of compressing, encrypting and masking the digital packets that are being transmitted in the network is called as Virtual Private Network (VPN). In VPN, the communication between the user ends is maintained such that it appears as if the source … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 9 · 23 Jun 2014 · 6,662 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEfficient Star Topology based Multicast Key Management AlgorithmK. Saravanan, T. PurusothamanProblem statement: Secure group communication is very important for many applications such as internet pay sites. It provides efficient delivery of identical data to only the customers in the group. In large and dynamic multicast groups, the group keys of members have to be changed frequently whenever the member leaves or joins. A common method is to apply a symmetric … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 6 · 22 Mar 2012 · 7,344 accessesView PDFCite
