Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsEmbedding Malaysian House Red Ant Behavior into an Ant Colony SystemZ. A. Othman, H. M. Rais, A. R. HamdanProblem statement: Ant Colony System (ACS) is the most popular algorithm used to find a shortest path solution in Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). Several ACS versions have been proposed which aim to achieve an optimum solution by adjusting pheromone levels. However, it still has a room on an improvement. This research aims to improve the algorithm by embedding individual Malaysian … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 11 · 30 Nov 2008 · 6,961 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractOptimizing Mobile Edge Computing Efficiency through Multidimensional Generative Adversarial NetworkAnitha Premkumar, Sowmya Vemagal Lakshminarayana, Shankar Rajagopal et al.Big data Processing and the IoT have recently gained popularity as study topics in MEC and thorough research is sought for well-informed decisions. Mobile edge equipment, such as base stations, routers, and edge servers, usually have limited processing capabilities compared to traditional data centers. According to this perspective, this research constructs MEC using Intelligent Outlier Detection with a Multidimensional Generative … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 2 · 18 Jan 2025 · 4,686 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Hybrid Metaheuristic Algorithm for Diseases Classification Using UAV ImagesYagnasree Sirivella, Anuj JainRecent advances in technology are very astounding since they have made it possible to manage and monitor systems remotely. Traditional farming is undergoing a transition towards "smart farming" with the assistance of technological breakthroughs, which include the implementation of intelligent irrigation systems and the remote monitoring of the development of crops. In particular, the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle plays a significant … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 10 · 11 Sep 2023 · 5,251 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractApplications of Nature-Inspired Algorithms in Different Aspects of Semantic WebDeepika Chaudhary, Jaiteg Singh, D. P. KothariNature has always inspired us all the waggle dance of Honey bee, the school of whales and the swarm of ants, each element when observed carefully has the abundance of teachings. If we carefully observe nature, we find that although Nature seems to be very simple and systematic, it hides many complexities underneath it. As technology also follows the same … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 2 · 14 Feb 2018 · 8,760 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSolving School Bus Routing Problem by Intelligent Water Drops AlgorithmAmeera Saleh Jaradat, Mohammed Qassim ShatnawiThe School Bus Routing Problem (SBRP) is an essential subject in the development of transportation. Solving the problem will have a great impact on the transportation systems by improving the quality of the provided service and reducing the operations costs. SBRP tries to find an efficient school buses plan where each bus takes up students from different bus stops and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 1 · 11 Jan 2018 · 8,587 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPROBABILISTIC PERIODIC REVIEW INVENTORYMODELUSING LAGRANGE TECHNIQUE AND FUZZY ADAPTIVE PARTICLE SWARM OPTIMIZATIONH. A. Fergany, N. A. El-Hefnawy, O. M. HollahThe integration between inventory model and Artificial Intelligent (AI) represents the rich area of research since last decade. In this study we investigate probabilistic periodic review <Q<qm, N> inventory model with mixture shortage (backorder and lost sales) using Lagrange multiplier technique and Fuzzy Adaptive Particle Swarm Optimization (FAPSO) under restrictions. The objective of these algorithms is to find the optimal … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 11 Aug 2014 · 7,017 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHybrid Exponential Particle Swarm Optimization K-Means Algorithm for Efficient Image SegmentationK. M. Murugesan, S. PalaniswamiThe introduction of unsupervised learning techniques like K-means inside the domain of Image Processing plays a vital role in Image Segmentation. The hybridization of this Algorithm by using Swarm Intelligent techniques further more improves the efficiency. Various works on hybridization of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) with K-means have been proposed and are found to be efficient in Image Segmentation. However, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 11 · 25 Oct 2012 · 7,141 accessesView PDFCite
