Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleBlockchain-Enabled Privacy-Preserving Access Control for Electronic Health Records Using Smart ContractsG. Bhanu Prasad, M. Venkateswara RaoElectronic medical records are crucial for providing high-quality healthcare, but they also raise serious privacy and security issues. Traditional centralised storage systems are vulnerable to manipulation, hacking, and illegal access. This study suggests a smart contract-based blockchain architecture that provides decentralised, unaltered, and privacy-preserving access control for EMRs. The model integrates cryptographic techniques like AES-256 encryption and SHA-256 hashing for … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 6 · 22 Jun 2026 · 1,306 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleBlockchain-NFV for Smart Digital and Secure Physical Structures in E-Government, Healthcare, and Network SystemsHayder Abdulsattar Nahi, Ebtehal Akeel Hamed, Rusul A. Salman, Akmam Majed MosaThis paper proposed a combined model that melds Blockchain technology with Network Function Virtualization (NFV) to promote many areas, such as smart, secure, and scalable physical and digital infrastructures in E-Government, Healthcare, and Network Systems. The model treats the principal objections in conventional systems, including centralization, slowed service deployment, and restricted safety. By employing decentralized Digital Identity Decentralized identifiers (DIDs), … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 4 · 21 Apr 2026 · 1,319 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Safe Method of Storing and Exchanging Electronic Health Records Using Smart Contracts and Blockchain Technology Using Fully Hashed Menezes-Qu-Vanstone AlgorithmMeenakshi Vashisth, Raju RanjanElectronic Health Records (EHRs) are essential for clinicians, patients, and researchers because they support timely care and informed decision-making. For this reason, digital health information must be collected, managed, and stored with strong protections to preserve privacy and prevent tampering. One approach to strengthening security is to use blockchain-based storage alongside smart contracts and controlled data sharing, which can help … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 2 · 21 Feb 2026 · 1,635 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAssessing the Usability of IoT-Based Smart Farming for Sustainable Organic AgricultureArisaphat Suttidee, Pankom Sriboonlue, Sompoch Tongnamtiang, Varitha LakkhamThis study evaluates the usability of an IoT-based smart farming system developed to support organic agriculture in Thailand. Many small-scale farmers still spend considerable time manually monitoring soil conditions and managing irrigation, often without access to practical technology. This slows farm operations and makes efficient water use more difficult. To address these challenges, the system was designed with wireless soil-moisture … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 10 · 7 Dec 2025 · 3,390 accessesView PDFCite
