Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Simulative Study on the Performance Evaluation for Simultaneous and Successive Mobility for Mobile IPv6Ibrahim Abdullah, Mohamed OthmanProblem statement: Mobile Internet Protocol (MIP) is the forms of the backbone for next generation wireless internet technology to provide uninterrupted network service while a node on the move. The original MIP use Home Agent to forward the traffic. Thus, it does not have problem with simultaneous mobility, i.e., the special case when both end nodes are mobile and move … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 12 · 30 Nov 2010 · 6,781 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsAn Effective Contention Aware Stable Path Finding Approach to Provide Quality of Service in Mobile Ad hoc NetworksD. S. Thenmozhi, M. RajaramProblem statement: The application of Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANETs) has been increasing every day. Most applications that attract interest for use in current wired networks (e.g. video conferencing, on line movies and camera enabled instant messenger) would attract interest for MANETs also. Many applications that use MANETs include multimedia data that require Quality of Service (QoS) support for effective … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 7 Mar 2011 · 6,740 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAnalytic Performability Model of Vertical Handoff in Wireless NetworksGowrishankar, G. N. Sekhar, P. S. SatyanarayanaProblem statement: The next generation wireless systems should be designed to support heterogeneous traffic with seamless mobility. A single network alone cannot cope up with such heterogeneous requirements. Hence it is desirable to interoperate between diverse and complementary Radio Access Technologies (RATs). In such system, user will switch between different Radio Access Technologies (RATs) to satisfy the User/application requirement and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2009 · 7,230 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractComparative Performance Analysis of Mobile IPv6 Protocols: Special Reference to Simultaneous BindingsShariq Haseeb, Ahmad F. IsmailMobile IP is the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) proposal to cater for All-Internet Protocol (All-IP) mobility. It forms the backbone for next generation Wireless Internet Technology to provide uninterrupted network service while on the move. Our paper conducts a performance study of the various Mobile Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) protocols such as Simple Mobile IPv6, Hierarchical Mobile IPv6, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2006 · 7,865 accessesView PDF Cite
