Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsInduction Motor Flux Estimation using Nonlinear Sliding ObserversHakiki Khalid, Mazari Benyounès, Djaber Sid’AhmedA nonlinear sliding flux was proposed for an induction motor. Its dynamic observation errors converge asymptotically to zero, independently from the inputs. The aim of this work was to study the robustness of this observer with respect to the variation of the rotor resistance known to be a crucial parameter for the control. The dynamic performance of this sliding observer … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 3, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2007 · 6,794 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDetermination of Flux linkage Characteristics and Inductance of a Submersible Switched Reluctance Motor using Software ToolsSundaram Maruthachalam, Navaneethan PalaniswamyProblem statement: The Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) is an old member of the Electric Machines Family. It’s simple structure, ruggedness and inexpensive manufacturing capability make it more attractive for Industrial applications. Now, the applications of switched reluctance motors in various industrial fields are tried by many engineers. However, switched reluctance motors are not used so far in submersible underwater motor … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 2 · 25 Feb 2011 · 7,580 accessesView PDF Cite
