Review ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Review on Eco-Restoration of Rivers with Special Focus on Industrial Wastewater TreatmentK Srividya, Godwin Glivin, V Sreeja, M PremalathaRivers are the lifeline of an ecosystem, since every member of the ecosystem depends directly or indirectly upon them for their sustenance. Changes in the riparian conditions would strongly impact the ecosystem-to-organism interactions and inter-organism interactions. Due to lack of regulations and widespread use of technology for industrial wastewater treatment, most of the industrial discharge ends up in the river. … …Energy Research Journal, Vol. 12, Issue 1 · 12 Jan 2021 · 7,165 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleThe Importance of Maintaining a Proper Database on Forest Restoration Program for Orangutans in BorneoRaymond Alfred, Koh Pei Hue, Lee Shan Khee, Rayner AlfredProblem statement: The lowland forest of Sabah is the most important habitat for orangutans and pygmy elephants. This is shown in the WWF-Malaysia’s elephant tracking programme in which satellite-based Global Position System (GPS) collar devices are used to monitor their movement and the range of their habitats, as well as an aerial survey on orangutan’s nest is performed to determine … …American Journal of Environmental Sciences, Vol. 6, Issue 2 · 30 Apr 2010 · 7,910 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleInfluence of Organic Fertilizers on the Restoration of the Biological Resource Potential of Natural Degraded Pastures in the Steppe Zone of Northern KazakhstanRashit Nurgaziyev, Bakyt Irmulatov, Beybit Nasiyev et al.The paper explores the opportunities for reducing the degradation of natural pastures and suggests an approach to their restoration using organic fertilizers. The work aims to determine the opportunities for restoring the biological resource potential of degraded pastures using organic fertilizers based on the principles of organic farming. In the steppe zone of Northern Kazakhstan, a study of the species … …OnLine Journal of Biological Sciences, Vol. 24, Issue 4 · 3 Sep 2024 · 4,160 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMicroleakage Assessment of CAD/CAM Endo Crown Restorations (an in vitro Study)Mohamed Ahmed Wakwak, Karim Sherif Adly, Abdallah Ahmed Abdelhady, Ahmed Ramdan ElmanakhlyThe preservation of tooth structure is an important factor in the successful restoration of endodontically treated teeth. The loss of structural integrity increases the occurrence of crown fractures and microleakage at the margins of restorations in endodontically treated teeth compared with vital teeth. A total of twenty endocrowns were fabricated in this study and the endocrown was divided into two … …Current Research in Dentistry, Vol. 14, Issue 1 · 13 Apr 2023 · 6,179 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDevelopment of an Algorithm for Fiber-to-the-Home Passive Optical Network Automatic Self-restoration Scheme Using Access Control SystemMohammad Syuhaimi Ab-Rahman, Siti Raihan Ahmad MahirProblem statement: Cables that are installed outdoors are subjected to harsh environmental conditions which make break down inevitable. When this happen it will disrupt the services and cause trouble to the users. To overcome this is to provide a means of restoring the network in case of failure. We introduced the Access Control System (ACS) and Customer Access Protection Unit … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 12 · 19 Oct 2011 · 6,899 accessesView PDFCite

KothariProblem statement: A Genetic Algorithm (GA) used here to find exact or approximate solutions to optimization and search problems. Genetic algorithms are a particular class of evolutionary algorithms that use techniques inspired by evolutionary biology such as inheritance, mutation, selection and crossover. Approach: GA is a method for search and optimization based on the process of natural selection and evolution. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 9 Mar 2011 · 7,029 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePoly-Species Phytocenoses for Ecosystem Restoration of Degraded Soil CoversAlmabek B. Nugmanov, Sergey V. Mamikhin, Khusain Kh. Valiev et al.Agroecological studies are based on the concept that, by understanding ecological processes, it is possible to manage agroecosystems for more sustainable production of more biomass and, thus, protection of natural resources. Many studies in the field of agroecology show that some farming methods can improve soil quality and restore agroecosystems by increasing plant biodiversity. Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleFault Node Detection and Connectivity Restoration with Mobile Relay Node in Wireless Sensor NetworksM.P. Anuradha, A.M. Swetha, Manivannan DoraipandianIn Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), node failure is an imperative concern in a hostile environment. These node failures create disjoints in the network and leads to a network partitioning problem. It is important for the nodes to be alive and communicate with each other to check the network connectivity. Replacement of Mobile Relay Nodes (MRN) in the location of faulty … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 4 · 1 Apr 2020 · 7,917 accessesView PDFCite
