Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsIn-Process Vision Inspection Systems for Sorting using Image Processing TechniquesJ. Latha, N. DevarajanProblem statement: Machine vision system is based on digital image processing and is found to be the best sensor detection as its operation is similar to the human eye. The purpose of machine vision is the desire to provide real time machines with visual abilities. Approach: A real time system is developed and is interfaced with the mechanical structure to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 4 · 2 Feb 2012 · 7,075 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAutomating a Festo Manufacturing Machine with an Allen-Bradley PLCPraneel Chand, Joven SepulvedaIndustry equipment such as machinery utilising Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) become outdated and obsolete over time. Support for older machines and controllers becomes limited and they become incompatible with new computer operating systems. In the end, they are no longer used by industry. However, obsolete machines can be refurbished and used for teaching or demonstration purposes. Hence, this study presents … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 5, Issue 1 · 26 Nov 2021 · 7,047 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSome Aspects of the Structure of Planar MechanismsRelly Victoria Virgil Petrescu, Raffaella Aversa, Bilal Akash et al.The machine is a technical system made up of distinct kinematic component parts (called kinematic elements) which, following the imprinting of movements imposed on an element or elements (considered as leading elements), cause movements to all other kinematic elements in order to execute a useful mechanical thing, or transforming some form of energy into mechanical energy. It follows from the … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 1 · 8 Feb 2018 · 8,020 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractProgrammable System on Chip Distributed Communication and Control Approach for Human Adaptive Mechanical SystemAhmad ‘Athif Mohd Faudzi, Koichi SuzumoriProblem statement: Communication and control are two main components in any Mechatronics system. They can be designed either by centralized or decentralized approach. Both approaches can be chosen based on application designed and specific requirements of the designer. In this study, decentralized or normally called distributed approach was selected to solved communication and control of a human adaptive mechanical system … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2010 · 6,733 accessesView PDF Cite
