Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTRANSMISSION CONTROL PROTOCOL PERFORMANCE COMPARISON USING PIGGYBACK SCHEME IN WLANSAli Ahmad Milad, Zul Azri Bin Muhamad Noh, Abdul Samad Shibghatullah et al.The main problem at wireless networks is the overhead at MAC layer; when the data physical rate is increasing it causes increasing the overhead and decreasing at the MAC efficiency. In this study we study the performance comparison of TCP protocol in WLANs with and without using piggyback. The study of results concerning of implemented both mechanisms in NS2 simulator … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 8 · 2 Jul 2013 · 7,360 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsImpulse Radio Ultra Wide Band Based Mobile Adhoc Network Routing Performance AnalysisM. Sreedhar, C. VenkateshThis study presents with the routing overhead analysis of impulse radio - Ultra Wide Band based wireless networks which Employs Dynamic Nature Routing (EDNR) method for determining and selecting the stable route in Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET). This method requires only two sample packets and uses piggyback information on Route-Request (RREQ) and Route-Reply (RREP) packets during a route-discovery procedure. Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsSafety Message Power Transmission Control for Vehicular Ad hoc NetworksGhassan Samara, Sureswaran Ramadas, Wafaa A.H. Al-SalihyProblem statement: Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANET) is one of the most challenging research area in the field of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks. Approach: In this research we proposed a dynamic power adjustment protocol that will be used for sending the periodical safety message. (Beacon) based on the analysis of the channel status depending on the channel congestion and the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 10 · 30 Jul 2010 · 7,468 accessesView PDF Cite
