Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractInverse Kinematics of a Stewart PlatformRelly Victoria Virgil Petrescu, Raffaella Aversa, Antonio Apicella et al.The development and diversification of machines and mechanisms with applications in all fields require new scientific researches for the systematization and improvement of existing mechanical systems by creating new mechanisms adapted to modern requirements, which involve increasingly complex topological structures. The modern industry, the practice of designing and building machinery is increasingly based on the results of scientific and applied … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 2, Issue 1 · 10 Mar 2018 · 14,790 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPerformance Evaluation of Apache Spark Vs MPI: A Practical Case Study on Twitter Sentiment AnalysisDeepa S Kumar, M Abdul RahmanThe advent of various processing frameworks which happens under big data technologies is due to tremendous dataset size and its complexity. The speed of execution was much higher with High Performance computing frameworks rather than big data processing frameworks. As majority of the jobs under big data are mostly data intensive rather than computation intensive, the High Performance Computing paradigms … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 12 · 23 Dec 2017 · 8,070 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractConfluences among Big Data, Finite Element Analysis and High Performance ComputingLidong Wang, Guanghui Wang, Cheryl Ann AlexanderBig Data analyzes correlations from huge raw data and predicts outcomes. It has great impacts on scientific discoveries and value creation. High Performance Computing (HPC) uses parallel processing and advanced programs or software packages to complete complicated jobs quickly. Finite Element Method (FEM) is very powerful in scientific computation and engineering analysis. It has created huge values in almost every … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 4 · 15 Jul 2015 · 8,066 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAN EFFECTIVE OPTIMIZED GENETIC ALGORITHM FOR SCALABLE INFORMATION RETRIEVAL FROM CLOUD USING BIG DATAR. Palson Kennedy, T. V. GopalThe distributed computations are broadly used in the current world for processing large scale jobs. For data intensive applications with big data, it has recently received a very good attention. A simple programming model that allows easy development of scalable parallel applications to process big data on large clusters was required. In our proposed work the input files will be … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 6 · 31 Jan 2014 · 6,671 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHybridization of Genetic Algorithm with Parallel Implementation of Simulated Annealing for Job Shop SchedulingThamilselvan Rakkiannan, Balasubramanie PalanisamyProblem statement: The Job Shop Scheduling Problem (JSSP) is observed as one of the most difficult NP-hard, combinatorial problem. The problem consists of determining the most efficient schedule for jobs that are processed on several machines. Approach: In this study Genetic Algorithm (GA) is integrated with the parallel version of Simulated Annealing Algorithm (SA) is applied to the job shop … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 25 Aug 2012 · 7,056 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSecure Selection of Multiple Resources Based on Virtual Private Network for Computational GridsG. Kavitha, V. SankaranarayananProblem statement: Grid computing provides a virtual framework for controlled sharing of resources across institutional boundaries. In computational grids, a client application is executed on the available set of resources that satisfy the user QoS requirements. Some applications require exhaustive computation power for execution of its tasks. In general, these tasks are assigned to a single available resource on the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 12 · 22 Oct 2011 · 7,607 accessesView PDFCite
