Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleIdentification of Influential Nodes With Topological Structure Via GRAPH Neural Network (GNN) Approach in Social Media NetworksRajnish Kumar, Laxmi Ahuja, Suman Mann, Sanmukh KaurThe amount of data in social networks is vast these days, and constantly changing, making influential node identification crucial. The existing topologies are constantly changing due to the evolving behavior of the applied dataset. Node and leaf topology or feature-based value form the basis for machine learning and centrality computation. Hence, influential node value determination is based on the node … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 2 · 17 Feb 2026 · 1,836 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleSolving the Robust Design Problem for a Two-Commodity Flow Network with Node FailureNoha Hamdy Radwan, Moatamad Refaat Hassan, Mohamed Eid HusseinThe robust design in a flow network is one of the most important problems. It is defined as searching the optimal capacity that can be assigned to the nodes such that the network still survived even under the node’s failure. This problem is considered NP-hard. So, this study presents a genetic-based algorithm to determine the maximum node capacity for a … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 4 · 28 Dec 2020 · 6,601 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleFault Node Detection and Connectivity Restoration with Mobile Relay Node in Wireless Sensor NetworksM.P. Anuradha, A.M. Swetha, Manivannan DoraipandianIn Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), node failure is an imperative concern in a hostile environment. These node failures create disjoints in the network and leads to a network partitioning problem. It is important for the nodes to be alive and communicate with each other to check the network connectivity. Replacement of Mobile Relay Nodes (MRN) in the location of faulty … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 4 · 1 Apr 2020 · 7,921 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMulticast Node Communication Using Virtual Queue with Process SchedulingS. Sumalatha, G. Sreenivasulu, G. Uday Kiran BhargavaMulticast technique is used to transmit node data from one source node to many destination nodes simultaneously and establish a communication in the network. In multicasting communication, node network packet collision occurrence is a frequent problem in real time network system. The node packet collision avoidance using virtual queue with process scheduling is discussed in this study and proposed central … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 28 Jan 2015 · 6,181 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEVALUATING AN AUTHENTICATED TRUST BASED ADHOC ON DEMAND DISTANCE VECTOR FOR MALICIOUS NODES ISOLATION IN MANETA. Sumathi, B. Vinayaga SundaramMANET networks are defined as the wireless self configuring networks that are capable of operating without the support of any fixed infrastructure and a central coordinator which makes the routing a complicated task. For detecting misbehaving and selfish nodes between the intermediate nodes it is essential to evaluate the Intermediate Trust Value (ITV) for each node in the network, so … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 9 · 30 Apr 2014 · 6,789 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleREDUCING TRANSMITTED POWER OF MOVING RELAY NODE IN LONG-TERM EVOLUTION-ADVANCED CELLULAR NETWORKSJaafar A. Aldhaibani, A. Yahya, R. B. Ahmad et al.Wireless multi-hop relay networks have become very significant technologies in mobile communications. These networks ensure data rate transfer and coverage extension with a low cost. In this study two types of relay are studied; Fixed Relay Node (FRN) and Moving Relay Node (MRN). Where system analyses for uplink and downlink transmission are derived in this study. Moreover the optimal relay … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 6 · 3 Feb 2014 · 6,741 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA NOVEL HYBRID NODE LOCALIZATION ALGORITHM FOR WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKSLiu Yu, Wang Haipeng, He You, Shen JianNode self-localization is one of the supporting technologies in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). In this study, a distributed hybrid localization algorithm based on divide-and-conquer and refinement method is proposed. Firstly, the effect of ranging error in the Received Signal Strength (RSS) model on node localization is analyzed and the topology relations of anchors and unknown nodes are derived when the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 12 · 25 Nov 2013 · 6,881 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Hybrid Approach for Node Co-Operation Based Clustering in Mobile Ad Hoc NetworksC. Sathiyakumar, K. DuraiswamyA Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is termed as a set of wireless nodes which could be built with infrastructure less environment where network services are afforded by the nodes themselves. In such a situation, if a node refuses to co-operate with other nodes, then it will lead to a considerable diminution in throughput and the network operation decreases to low … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 2 · 26 Mar 2013 · 6,967 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTrust Based Node Replication Attack Detection Protocol for Wireless Sensor NetworksV. Manjula, C. ChellappanThe harmful attack against Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is Node Replication attack, where one or more node(s) illegitimately claims an identity, are also called clone attack due to identity theft. The Node replication attack can be exceedingly injurious to many important functions of the sensor network such as routing, resource allocation, misbehavior detection, This study proposes a method Randomized and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 11 · 5 Nov 2012 · 6,759 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleImpact of Malicious Nodes under Different Route Refresh Intervals in Ad Hoc NetworkP. Suganthi, A. TamilarasiProblem statement: Ad hoc networks are formed dynamically by group of mobile devices co operating with each other. Intermediate nodes between source and destination act as routers so that source node can communicate with the destination node even if it is out radio range and thus eliminating the necessity of infrastructure. Co operation of nodes is a very important feature … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 1 · 3 Nov 2011 · 7,305 accessesView PDFCite
