These horses are however conditioned to cover the long distances of the competitions at moderate speeds. Approach: This study was conducted in Malaysia to determine the post-race hematological, blood electrolyte and biochemical and physical parameters of horses of 40, 80 and 120 km endurance race categories and … …American Journal of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 4 · 27 Dec 2010 · 9,163 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFour Dimensional (4-D) BioChemInfoPhysics Models of Cardiac Cellular and Sub-Cellular Vibrations (Oscillations)Kang Cheng, Chang-Hua ZouProblem statement: Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD) continued to be the leading cause of death. Failure or abnormal cardiac cellular or sub-cellular vibrations (oscillations) could lead failure or abnormal heart beats that could cause CVD. Understanding the mechanisms of the vibrations (oscillations) could help to prevent or to treat the diseases. Scientists have studied the mechanisms for more than 100 years. To … …OnLine Journal of Biological Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 2 · 15 Jun 2009 · 7,057 accessesView PDF Cite
