Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleDynamic Head Cluster Election Algorithm for Clustered Ad-Hoc NetworksArwa Zabian, Ahmed Ibrahim, Fadi Al-KalaniIn distributed system, the concept of clustering consists on dividing the geographical area covered by a set of nodes into small zones. In mobile network, the clustering mechanism varied due to the mobility of the nodes any time in any direction. That causes the partitioning of the network or the joining of nodes. Several existing centralized or globalized algorithm have … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 1 · 31 Jan 2008 · 7,430 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsTWO PHASE CLUSTERING METHOD FOR LEACH PROTOCOL FOR EFFECTIVE CLUSTER HEAD SELECTIONRathi, ViswanathanA Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) comprise of a huge quantity of clusters of sensor nodes that can inter communicate with all nodes and with the base station through a wireless link. All clusters are corresponding to a cluster head to provide a direct communication to the base station and in addition with other cluster heads. Obviously well-organized selection of cluster … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 21 Nov 2013 · 7,122 accessesView PDF Cite

Case ReportOpen accessIn the abstractLoad Balancing Technique Based on Broadcasting and Residual Energy Using Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy Protocol (LBEACH)Abdullah Soliman Alshraa, Venus Wazeer SamawiOne of the important factors of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is sensors lifetime. Elongating sensors lifetime increases the benefits from the network capabilities as much as possible. To elongate WSNs lifetime, power consumption should be reduced. To do so, load balance technique is applied to distribute the energy consumption among cluster’s nodes in the WSN. In each cluster, the node … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 6 · 13 Oct 2015 · 6,610 accessesView PDF Cite
