Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsDesign of Low- Power High-Speed Error Tolerant Shift and Add MultiplierK. N. Vijeyakumar, V. Sumathy, Sriram Komanduri, C. Chrisjin Gnana SujiProblem Statement: In this study, we had proposed a low power architecture for high speed multiplication. Approach: The modifications to the conventional shift and add multiplier includes introduction of modified error tolerant technique for addition and enabling of adder cell by current multiplication bit of the multiplier constant. The proposed architecture enables the removal of input multiplexer, switching of adder … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 12 · 18 Oct 2011 · 7,155 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign and Development of Robot Hand SystemPanchumarthy Seetharamaiah, Mandapati Venkateswara Rao, Geddapu Venkata SatyanarayanaResearch on robot hand design is being carried out to accommodate a variety of tasks such as grasping and manipulation of objects in the field of industrial applications, service robots and rehabilitation robots. Problem statement: To design and develop a microcontroller-based four fingered robotic hand with a simple and minimal control strategy to pick and place application with object detection … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 6 · 14 Jun 2011 · 6,771 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCpG Oligodeoxynucleotides Debate the Damaging Action of Cisplatin on Immune Cell DNA: A PCR Array Application on Repair Genes ExpressionNaglaa Fathy Alhusseini, Amal Abo El-Fadl, Shabaan Hemada et al.Synthetic Oligodeoxynucleotides (ODN) expressing CpG motifs (CpG-ODN) mimic the immunostimulatory activity of bacterial DNA and are commonly used to activate Toll Like Receptor 9 (TLR9) for therapeutic applications. CpG-ODN can counteract the activity of DNA-damaging chemotherapy and radiation therapy on immune cell and enhance immunity in preclinical mouse models. We hypothesized that these actions of CpG-ODN on immune cells are … …American Journal of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Vol. 12, Issue 3 · 27 Jul 2016 · 7,625 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractRegister-Specific Collocational Constructions in English and Spanish: A Usage-Based ApproachGloria Corpas PastorConstructions are usage-based, conventionalised pairings of form and function within a cline of complexity and schematisation. Most research within Construction Grammar has focused on the monolingual description of schematic constructions: Mainly in English, but to a lesser extent in other languages as well. By contrast, very little constructional analyses have been carried out across languages. In this study we will … …Journal of Social Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 3 · 13 Jul 2015 · 9,705 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractV-Band Fade Dynamics Characteristics Analysis in Tropical RegionKhairayu Badron, Ahmad Fadzil Ismail, Jafri Din, Ahmad Tharek Abdul RahmanProblem statement: Satellite operations at V-band in tropical and equatorial regions are constrained as a result of attenuation from rain. Approach: Statistics for 20 consecutive months of V-band terrestrial link signal attenuation measurements in Malaysia were presented in this analysis. Such information was considered very pertinent for Earth-space communication link design and can be used for initial groundwork plan for … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2010 · 7,802 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordDropping down the Maximum Item Set: Improving the Stylometric Authorship Attribution Algorithm in the Text Mining for Authorship InvestigationTareef Kamil Mustafa, Norwati Mustapha, Masrah Azrifah Azmi, Nasir B. SulaimanProblem statement: Stylometric authorship attribution is an approach concerned about analyzing texts in text mining, e.g., novels and plays that famous authors wrote, trying to measure the authors style, by choosing some attributes that shows the author style of writing, assuming that these writers have a special way of writing that no other writer has; thus, authorship attribution is the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2010 · 7,533 accessesView PDF Cite
