Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsImproving Computation Power by Reducing Query Response Time in Peer-to-Peer EnvironmentVelvizhi Nandagopal, D. ManjulaProblem statement: The Peer-to-Peer (P2P) was an emerging model and was being widely adopted in today’s internet computing.P2P traffic contributes the largest portion of the internet traffic which was unnecessary and led to delay. In existing Scalable Bipartite Overlay (SBO) network, Out of “N” peers, one group of peers were probing the messages (or) queries whereas the other group of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 9 Mar 2011 · 6,598 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Efficient Cluster Head Selection in IoV-Enabled VANETs Using a Federated Diffusion Convolutional Recurrent Neural Networks FrameworkP Subhash, Madana Srinivas, A. Ranjith et al.The IoV enables the formation of VANETs that require a strong selection of CHs for effective communication within high-velocity changing traffic scenarios. Existing approaches often face issues related to scalability, privacy, and adaptability. To meet the aforementioned urgent needs, we design a decentralized scheme for intelligent CH selection based on Federated Learning with Diffusion Convolutional Recurrent Neural Networks (DCRNNs). According … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 10 · 1 Oct 2026 · 599 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHybrid Machine Learning Framework with Data Analytics Model for Privacy-Preserved Intelligent Predictive Maintenance in Healthcare IoTArun Ganji, D. Usha, P.S. RajakumarFederated Learning (FL) is a cutting-edge approach for developing machine learning (ML) models using distributed datasets while preserving data privacy and ownership. FL is particularly suited for Internet of Things (IoT) networks due to its decentralized nature, which supports In-Edge AI and maintains data locality. However, FL's complexity poses challenges in analyzing system health, making it crucial to develop robust … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 1 · 30 Nov 2024 · 5,821 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPropose a System of Collecting and Analyzing Casual Labor Data in Libya Based on Distributed Systems and Weka VisualizationMagda Shuayb, Ashraf Fadiel, Taher Abu-LebdehThe aim of this research is to propose a system for collecting and analyzing casual labor data in Libya, leveraging distributed systems and the Weka visualization tool. The current labor market in Libya relies heavily on casual labor, which poses challenges in terms of data collection and analysis due to its decentralized nature. The proposed system aims to address these … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 16, Issue 4 · 8 Jan 2024 · 4,885 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSafeguarding Electronic Health Records: A Review of Privacy and Security in EHR WorkflowsGayathri Hegde M, P. Deepa Shenoy, Venugopal K RElectronic Health Records (EHRs) have revolutionized the healthcare industry by improving the accessibility to patient data, optimizing workflows and refining clinical decision making. The increasing use of digital records raises serious privacy and security concerns, particularly about healthcare data storage and management, access and retrieval, and sharing and interoperability. This survey paper comprehensively reviews existing privacy-preserving and security-enhancing approaches across … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 11 · 18 Dec 2025 · 2,233 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractNovel Adaptive Job Scheduling Algorithm on Heterogeneous Grid ResourcesG. K. Kamalam, V. Murali BhaskaranGrid provides an infrastructure for sharing geographically distributed heterogeneous resources to process many applications and mainly used for solving scientific problems that requires more computation time. Problem statement: Grid is a dynamic environment, where the resources may join or leave the environment at any time and the jobs also arrives at different intervals of time. To meet the demands and … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 8 · 6 Jul 2012 · 6,851 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Multi-Agent Architecture for QoS Support in Grid EnvironmentAli Rezaee, Amir M. Rahmani, Saeed Parsa, Sahar AdabiGrid computing is emerged as a new distributed computing technology that implements flexible and coordinated resource sharing among dynamic, heterogeneous, unpredictable and geographically distributed collections of resources owned by different individuals and organizations. Due to heterogeneous and dynamic nature of the grid, resource management and application scheduling is a complex undertaking. This paper proposed a multi-agent architecture that addressed resource … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2008 · 7,081 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Novel Service Mobility Architecture for SIP EnvironmentsThierno Bah, Samuel Pierre, Roch GlithoLately, the proliferation of small portable devices has driven the introduction of a new mobility concept called service mobility. In order to support service mobility, we introduce a new architecture implementing mechanisms to access end user’s personalized services regardless of his physical location. The proposed architecture leverages on mobile agent technology to transport and move services to the end user’s … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2007 · 6,818 accessesView PDFCite
