Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleRobust Flight Control Design for a Turn Coordination System with Parameter UncertaintiesAri Legowo, Hiroshi OkuboThis paper presents a method of robust control system design for aircraft flight control systems with the existence of uncertainty parameters such as stability and control derivatives resulted by parameter identification process using real flight test data. A nonlinear model of aircraft turn coordination system is considered where the problem is to find the optimal controller by using the H∞ … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2007 · 7,498 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleImproving Coordination and Communication in Distributed Software Development through Context-Based Software Artifacts Awareness: A Controlled ExperimentRafael Leonardo Vivian, Elisa Hatsue Moriya Huzita, Renato Balancieri et al.Distributed Software Development (DSD) has brought many competitive advantages, such as increased productivity, improved product quality and cost reduction. However, the geographic and temporal distances and sociocultural differences between distributed teams, expanded some challenges and, above all, added new requirements with regard to communication and coordination. This scenario has influenced on the software artifacts that are produced and/or modified, because … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 11 · 15 Nov 2018 · 7,158 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleCoordination of Series and Shunt Flexible AC Transmission System Devices Based Voltage Source Converter for Improving Power System StabilityPrechanon KumkratugProblem Statement: Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) and Static Synchronous Series Compensator (SSSC) have been individually applied to improve stability of power system. Approach: This study presents the coordination of a STATCOM and SSSC for improving power system stability. Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleSoftware Process Modeling Using Role and CoordinationAtil Fadila, Ghoul Said, Bounour NoraThe term software process joins all activities that have to be achieved in order to develop software. It has been shown that modeling such processes is difficult and expensive task. It's confirmed by diversity of software processes modeling approaches which are however, not satisfactory. This study deals with an area of growing importance and presents a role- and coordination- based … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2006 · 6,567 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsHuman Synergy Based Analysis to Control of Rehabilitation Robot for Adaptive AssistanceGyanendra Nath TripathiAdaptive assistance is needed to support mobility of disabled person due to weakened muscles and loss of joint control. Assistive robot requires coordinated motion trajectory of its joint, similar to human joint trajectory. A robot trajectory planning mechanism, based on comparative analysis between robot trajectory and human joint trajectory data is important to find coordinated trajectory for assistive robot joint. … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 9, Issue 1 · 8 Oct 2025 · 3,052 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsGender Differences in Cognitive AbilitesAhmed A. Teleb, Aida A. Al AwamlehThe purpose of this study was to examine whether gender differences in Visual Selective Attention, Working Memory, Anticipation Time, Auditory Reaction Time and Visual-Motor Coordination performance existed. Forty eight students at Assiut university (21 males and 27 females; between 19.0 and 23.58 years old) participated in this study. Results indicated that there was no statistically significant difference between males and … …Current Research in Psychology, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 28 Dec 2012 · 9,244 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsProviding Fairness to Mobile Workforces in an Automated Task Allocation Process: A Semantic Multi-agent ApproachArash Mousavi, Riza Sulaiman, Md. Jan Nordin et al.Problem statement: Mobile Workforces (MW) unlike computational resources of an automated system are active but not passive entities. Therefore, an automated resource allocation system that deals with MWs should assign tasks to them fairly and in a comparatively equal manner. An unfair task allocation in a group will cause dissatisfaction, which in turn demotivates MWs who are supposed to work … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 7 · 16 May 2012 · 7,003 accessesView PDFCite
