Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsFault Tolerant Control Using Proportional-Integral-Derivative Controller Tuned by Genetic AlgorithmS. Kanthalakshmi, V. ManikandanProblem statement: The growing demand for reliability, maintainability and survivability in industrial processes has drawn significant research in fault detection and fault tolerant control domain. A fault is usually defined as an unexpected change in a system, such as component malfunction and variations in operating condition, which tends to degrade the overall system performance. The purpose of fault detection is … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 8 · 15 Jul 2011 · 6,479 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractRECONFIGURING EVOLVED CIRCUITS USING CONTROLLER: A REAL TIME APPROACHB. Hari Krishna, S. RaviFPGA is a device that contains a matrix of reconfigurable gate arrays that can implement different complex functions and also vary structurally. In this study, a novel method of reconfigurable circuit switching action is done with the help of a controller. BPSK Modulation application is chosen to demonstrate the reconfigurable action. When an event occurs the context/core switching is done … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 2 Dec 2013 · 6,372 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDynamic Partial Reconfiguration Contribution on System on Programmable Chip Architecture for Motor Drive ImplementationHedi Abdelkrim, Slim Ben Othman, Ahmed Karim Ben Salem, Slim Ben SaoudProblem statement: Nowadays, Reconfigurable System on Chip (RSoC) shows great potential in many high performance applications that benefit from Hardware customization. Approach: In this study, we present a design approach of FPGA based Controller for electromechanical system. In this way, we present solutions obtained by Hardware/Software Code sign methodology targeted for the implementation of a motor control drive system using … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 1 · 18 Feb 2012 · 8,978 accessesView PDF Cite
