Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleACKA 500 WATT POWER AMPLIFIER FOR A 144 MHZ CHANNEL BASED ON A VHF PUSH-PULL POWER MOS TRANSISTORAgus Harjoko, Tri Wahyu SupardiIn a wireless communication, a signal power amplifier is needed to carry signals over a long distance. Many signal amplifiers are made of tube as the amplifying component and as such they suffer low efficiency. This study presents results of the research on designing and implementing solid state 144MHz signal amplifier employing MOSFET BLF278 as the active component of the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 5 Sep 2013 · 7,615 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleCyclic Prefix Length Determination for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing System over Different Wireless Channel Models Based on the Maximum Excess Delay SpreadAmar Al-Jzari, Kostanic IvivaCyclic Prefix (CP) is one of the key OFDM parameters. It is used to completely eliminate both Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI) and Inter-Carrier Interference (ICI) as long as the CP length is greater than the channel delay spread. By eliminating the ISI and ICI, the CP compensates for the effect of the multi-path dispersion; but it consumes a considerable amount of … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 13 Apr 2015 · 8,563 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePerformance Analysis of Discrete Wavelet Transform Based Multiple Input Multiple Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing System for Different Wavelets in Different Channel EnvironmentHariprasadNagarajan, AlameluNachiappanMultiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) are the two assuring technologies that offers high data rate as required for the 4G wireless systems. Conventionally OFDM is Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) based system. It uses IFFT (Inverse FFT) blocks in the transmitter and FFT blocks in the receiver. OFDM combined with MIMO gives increased throughput and … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 12 · 18 Oct 2013 · 6,616 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDesign of Transmitter for CDM Based 2×2 Multiple Input Multiple Output Channel Sounder for Multipath Delay MeasurementM. Habib Ullah, M. T. Islam, Mandeep Sing et al.Problem statement: Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) wireless communication system is an innovative solution to improve the bandwidth efficiency by exploiting multipath-richness of the propagation environment. The degree of multipath-richness of the channel will determine the capacity gain attainable by MIMO deployment. Approach: Therefore, it is very important to have accurate knowledge of the propagation environment/radio channel before MIMO implement. … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 1 · 24 Nov 2011 · 7,898 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePerformance of MMSE Receiver based Multi Input Multi Output-Interleave Division Multiple-Access System with Multi-user Detection over Frequency Selective Wireless Communication ChannelKuttathatti Srinivasan Vishvaksenan, R. SeshasayananProblem statement: This study presents the performance analysis of turbo assisted Interleave Division Multiple-Access (IDMA) system with Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) support for multi user scenario over correlated frequency selective and uncorrelated frequency selective channel. Approach: The key principle of IDMA is that interleaver unique which distinguishes the users in contrast to spreading sequence in Code Division Multiple Access … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 7 · 30 Jun 2011 · 6,834 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleHistory Based Contention Window Control in IEEE 802.11 MAC Protocol in Error Prone ChannelAli Balador, Ali Movaghar, Sam JabbehdariProblem statement: IEEE 802.11 Medium Access Control (MAC) protocol is one of the most implemented protocols in this network. The IEEE 802.11 controls the access to the share wireless channel within competing stations. The IEEE 802.11 DCF doubles the Contention Window (CW) size for decreasing the collision within contending stations and to improve the network performances but it is not … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 2 · 28 Jul 2010 · 7,662 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsSM-SCAM YOLO: Enhancing Object Detection with Multi-Scale Module and Spatial Channel Attention MechanismShanmuga Sundari Mariyappan, Kayalvizhi Mohan, K. B. K. S. DurgaDetecting tiny objects remains a significant hurdle in computer vision, primarily due to scale variation, occlusion, and the loss of detail in low-resolution features. Although YOLO-based detectors are popular for their speed and efficiency in real-time tasks, they often struggle with accurately identifying small objects because of information loss during downsampling. This study introduces an improved YOLO-based model that integrates … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 6 · 12 Jun 2025 · 3,921 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFL-CARE: Federated Learning-Based Contention-Aware and Energy-Balanced Routing for Dense FANETsHalimjon Khujamatov, Elyanora Jolimbetova et al.In dense multi-drone FANET environments, routing efficiency is often reduced due to constant competition for a wireless channel, frequent changes in network topology, and uneven energy consumption between UAV nodes. These factors lead to a decrease in the packet delivery ratio, an increase in delays on the busiest or most unstable routes, and a reduction in the total network lifespan. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 8 · 13 Aug 2026 · 1,172 accessesView PDFCite
