Research ArticleOpen accessNew Approach of Electromagnetic Fields of the Lightning DischargeDib Djalel, Mordjaoui Mourad, Hocine LabarDespite the significant developments in the protection means of electrical and electronic systems against the lightning and its effects. With its unpredictability and aggress if character, the lightning is the most dangerous phenomenon for electrical systems, which requires more interest and greater effort by researchers and designers means of protection. We present in this study a new analytic model of … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 6, Issue 4 · 18 Jan 2014 · 6,919 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessThe Return-Stroke of Lightning Current, Source of Electromagnetic Fields (Study, Analysis and Modelling)Dib Djalel, Haddouche Ali, Chemam FayçalIn this study we present and analysis of the return-stroke lightning current and described their models which existing in the literature by several authors for the evaluation of radiated electromagnetic fields and modelling the coupling with electrical systems based on the calculation of induced voltages. The objective of this work is to take part in the improvement of the coordination … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 1 · 30 Apr 2007 · 7,552 accessesView PDF Cite
