Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA NOVEL HYBRID NODE LOCALIZATION ALGORITHM FOR WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKSLiu Yu, Wang Haipeng, He You, Shen JianNode self-localization is one of the supporting technologies in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). In this study, a distributed hybrid localization algorithm based on divide-and-conquer and refinement method is proposed. Firstly, the effect of ranging error in the Received Signal Strength (RSS) model on node localization is analyzed and the topology relations of anchors and unknown nodes are derived when the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 12 · 25 Nov 2013 · 6,878 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Detailed Preserving Medical Image Denoising Using Cluster-Wise PCA Thresholding and Iterative Mean FilteringMohit Sharma, Ayush Dogra, Anita Gupta et al.Image denoising is a vital process in medical imaging that involves removing noise or distortions introduced during image acquisition. Random noise can degrade image quality and reduce contrast, making accurate analysis more challenging. This paper presents a detail-preserving medical image denoising framework based on a hybrid methodology that combines cluster-wise Principal Component Analysis (PCA) thresholding with Iterative Mean Filtering (IMF). … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 4 · 18 Apr 2026 · 1,787 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEdge Sensing Demosaicing Using Adaptive Weighted InterpolationDev R. Newlin, Elwin Chandra MonieDemosaicing is a process of obtaining a full color image by interpolating the missing colors of an image captured from a digital still and video cameras that use a single-sensor array. The edges are not handled properly in the existing demosaicking methods. This study provides an effective demosaicing algorithm applying an adaptive weighted-edge interpolation to handle green pixels. Due to … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 29 Apr 2013 · 6,960 accessesView PDF Cite
