Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleAdaptive Linear Prediction Augmented Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average Based Prediction for VBR Video TrafficT. Raghuveera, P. V.S. Kumar, K. S. EaswarakumarProblem statement: Network traffic prediction plays a vital role in the optimal resource allocation and management in computer networks. This study introduces an ARIMA based model augmented by Adaptive Linear Prediction (ALP) for the real time prediction of VBR video traffic. The synergy of the two can successfully address the challenges in traffic prediction such as accuracy in prediction, resource … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 6 · 14 Jun 2011 · 7,013 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsFuzzy Logic Controller for Wireless Video TransmissionK. P. Rajesh, K. S. RamaswamiProblem statement: As the Variable Bit Rate (VBR) is high in MPEG, the video experienced long delay and unexpected data loss. In wireless channel, due to noise and interference of other signals transmission rate cannot be predicted. Approach: In this paper we proposed an intelligent fuzzy logic controller for transmission of Moving Picture Expert Group (MPEG-4) video signals over wireless … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 7 · 30 Jun 2011 · 6,950 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEnhancing Quality of Service of Video Streaming Applications Over Vehicular Ad-Hoc NetworksPooja Sharma, Ajay KaulVehicular ad-hoc networks play quite an important role in communication as it is challenging to have communication across VANET nodes because of high mobility. Video streaming applications over ad-hoc networks are quite difficult because of more mobility of VANET nodes. There are various existing techniques to optimize or improve the video dissemination over ad-hoc networks. Video streaming applications need a … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 7 · 30 Jun 2025 · 3,387 accessesView PDF Cite
