Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleSUPERVISED TERM WEIGHTING METHODS FOR URL CLASSIFICATIONR. RajalakshmiMany term weighting methods are suggested in the literature for Information Retrieval and Text Categorization. Term weighting method, a part of feature selection process is not yet explored for URL classification problem. We classify a web page using its URL alone without fetching its content and hence URL based classification is faster than other methods. In this study, we investigate … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 10 · 23 Jun 2014 · 7,092 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMultimodal Face Expression Recognition Using Parametric Exponential Linear Unit-Long Short-Term MemoryKampa Ratna Babu, Akula Suneetha, Kampa Kanthi KumarMultimodal facial expression recognition combines information from multiple modalities of audio and video to achieve the required accuracy and robustness. By integrating different data sources, multimodal systems capture different aspects of human expression. However, accurately recognizing facial expressions across audio and video modalities causes challenges due to variations in expression representation. In this research, Parametric Exponential Linear Unit-Long Short-Term Memory … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 10 · 17 Aug 2024 · 4,612 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPerformance Evaluation of Search Engines Using Enhanced Vector Space ModelJitendra Nath Singh, Sanjay K. DwivediVector space model allows computing a continuous degree of similarity between queries and retrieved documents and then ranks the documents in increasing order of cosine (similarity) value. It computes cosine or similarity value using their cosine function. The cosine function computes the similarity value by computing the weight of each term in the documents using a weighting scheme but it … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 4 · 24 Jul 2015 · 6,758 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Overview for Decomposition of Industry Energy ConsumptionChun-Chu LiuThis study is to overview several methodological related to the decomposition approach based on the energy consumption. Based on a comparison of the size of the residual term that the adaptive weighting Divisia and the simple average Divisia index method, is most robust, exhibiting the smallest residual term. A complete decomposition model also introduced here has solved a residual problem. …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2005 · 6,712 accessesView PDF Cite
