Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsEnhancing Telecommunication Network Management with Autonomous Optimization Agents and Machine LearningDanny Adil Sibarani, Evaristus Didik MadyatmadjaThis study explores the integration of Machine Learning (ML) and Autonomous Optimization Agents (AOAs) in the management and optimization of Radio Access Networks (RAN). The research addresses the growing challenges posed by the need for skilled network experts capable of managing and analyzing large-scale network data, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and thousands of network configuration parameters. To overcome these … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 2 · 4 Mar 2025 · 7,041 accessesView PDFCite
Research NotesOpen accessIn the abstractMetadata Stewardship and Quality in Telecom SectorBhola Gan Chaudhuri, Shalli RaniThe spread of the telecom network infrastructure, constellations of satellites and the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) have brought about unprecedented volumes of heterogeneous information which facilitate the contemporary monitoring systems of the environment and the earth. Metadata control and information quality have also become significant in the telecom industry in controlling data reliably, enhancing data services, and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 10 · 22 Oct 2026 · 335 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractResource Pooling Coupled with Power Adaptation for the Management of Interferences between Cellular and D2D Communications in 5GDeussom Djomadji Eric Michel, Mengoumou Abessolo ArseneAs telecommunication networks are booming, we are witnessing an ever-increasing evolution of network generations. These evolutions are due both to the ever-higher demands of subscribers and services. Thus, the world we live in is moving towards a global interconnection of information systems and equipment, with an ever-increasing demand in terms of throughput, in terms of low latency, and reliability. This … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 22, Issue 1 · 5 Mar 2025 · 8,575 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFeatures of the Security System Development of a Computer Telecommunication NetworkLeonid Chervyakov, Tagirbek Aslanov, Dmitry Polezhaev, Viktor LysenkoGlobal computer networks have enabled ordinary users, companies, organizations and medical institutions to gain virtually unlimited access to data arrays. Therefore, developing systems capable of ensuring the good performance and secure operation of a standard Computer Telecommunication Network (CTN) has become one of the most pressing tasks demanded in the medical industry. Consequently, this study aims to create an ordered … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 9 · 20 Jun 2024 · 4,725 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAdvanced Automatic Lexicon with Sentiment Analysis Algorithms for Arabic ReviewsAyman Mohamed MostafaSentiment analysis is a statistical analysis of people’s attitudes, directions and emotions about a specific domain. The advance of telecommunication networks makes it very important to develop different sentiment analysis algorithms for gathering information of user preferences from multiple specialized sources. The next step is to analyze the polarity of information and finally gain and predict knowledge to anticipate future … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 14, Issue 8 · 13 Apr 2017 · 7,622 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFaces Detection using Skin Color, Region-Props, Bounding-Box and Neural Networks SystemGamal Mohamed BeheryFace detection is an important prior step for face recognition system which is widely used in security systems, face verification systems, telecommunication, video surveillance, facial expressions recognition, status authentication, etc. The proposed system is applied on many images which contain persons and extract the faces out of there automatically. The skin color, region-props and bounding-box are used as preprocessing tools … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 5 · 17 May 2016 · 7,732 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractLONG-REACH OPTICAL ACCESS NETWORKS (LR-OANS): A PROMISING CANDIDATE FOR FUTURE OPTICAL ACCESSI.M.M. Mohamed, M.S. Ab-RahmanThe ever-increasing demand for broader bandwidth per user, which results from the continuous development of new bandwidth-hungry services and applications, creates the motivation to upgrade the currently deployed Time-Division Multiplexing Passive Optical Networks (TDM-PONs) to Next-Generation Optical Access Networks (NG-OANs). Beside the need for more bandwidth per user, a further extension in the range and an increase in the split … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 9 · 15 Aug 2014 · 6,704 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractLow Cost Test Bench to Assess Energy Efficiency of Communications Network EquipmentLuiz Henrique Biazotto, Alexandre de Assis Mota, Lia Toledo Moreira MotaCommunication network Quality of Service (QoS) degradation can lead to the consumption of additional energy to exchange information than that needed in normal conditions. If such behavior is known, network management can be more efficient and accurate, permitting to control more efficiently the energy consumption in telecommunication equipments. This study describes a test bench that can simultaneously measure the QoS … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 11 · 20 Sep 2012 · 6,678 accessesView PDFCite
