Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleFDIR Strategy for Sensor Faults During Re-entry FlightGianfranco Morani, Mariangela Di LorenzoIn this study, a Fault Detection, Isolation and Reconfiguration (FDIR) strategy is proposed for dealing with the problem of single sensor faults during a re-entry flight. The proposed algorithms rely on a model based Fault Detection and Isolation. After the generation of a residual through a Kalman filter observer, detection is obtained via the estimation of residual signal statistics while … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 7 Apr 2018 · 8,690 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPassive Approach for Fault Tolerant Controller Using Hybrid Controller Structure for Effective Level Control of Conical Tank SystemHimanshukumar R. Patel, Vipul A. ShahThe Article Propose An Efficacious Fault Tolerant Control (FTC) Strategy Using The Hybrid Controller Structure To Establish Stable And Tracking Control With Two Faults Constrain In The Area Of Two Tank Canonical Non-Interacting Level Control System (TTCNILCS). Many Process Industries Use Canonical Tanks Because Of Its Varying Cross-Section Area Which Contributes Better Throughput From An Outlet For Different Material. Hence … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 16, Issue 1 · 7 Feb 2020 · 6,718 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPerformance Comparison of Passive Fault Tolerant Control Strategy with PI and Fuzzy Control of Single-Tank Level Process with Sensor and System FaultHimanshukumar R. Patel, Vipul A. ShahFault-Tolerant Control (FTC) strategy has gain maximum attention in recent years in chemical industries due to economical and safety hazards perspective. Targeting at the decreasing control performance of the single-tank level control process under the constraint of system and sensor faults, this article presents model-based Passive Fault-Tolerant Control (PFTC) strategy which are based on conventional and artificial intelligence control. The … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 2 · 24 Jun 2019 · 7,598 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractWNBLI - A Multifarious Liability Examination for Wireless Sensor NetworksTamilarasi B., UmaRani R.Wireless communications has completely revolutionized the living environment, just as personal computers forever altered the way of working in the 1980’s and the Internet dramatically changed the obtainment and accessing way of information in the 1990’s. Wireless sensor networks are evolving to a new level. The Failure liability is a very prominent problem in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) research. Failure … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 6 · 8 May 2018 · 7,572 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign of a Current Sensor for IDDQ Testing of CMOS ICMohd Liakot Ali, Nurul Huda KhamisThis study presents the design of an off-chip current sensor for IDDQ testing of CMOS (Complementary Metal-oxide Semiconductor) ICs (integrated circuit). It provides a linear voltage signal of IDDQ current with a conversion factor of 5 mV/μA without any amplification. A voltage-controlled switch is used to bypass the transient current peaks. It has also been shown that the sensor is … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2005 · 6,834 accessesView PDF Cite
