Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesThe q-Riccati AlgebraAmna Hasan, Hakeem A. Othman, Sami H. AltoumFor q∈(0, 1), we introduce the q-Riccati Lie algebra. Using the q-derivative (or Jackson derivative), we give a representation of this Lie algebra. …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 16, Issue 1 · 14 Jan 2020 · 6,982 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesq-Euler Lagrange EquationAmna Hasan, Hakeem A. Othman, Sami H. AltoumIn this work, for q ∈ (0, 1), the q-deformation of Euler- Lagrange equation is studied; we use q-derivative (or Jackson derivative) to deduce a new formula of Euler- Lagrange equation. Some examples are presented. …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 16, Issue 9 · 22 Nov 2019 · 7,761 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesFPGA-Based Architecture for a Generalized Parallel 2-D MRI Filtering AlgorithmSami Hasan, Said Boussakta, Alex YakovlevProblem statement: Current Neuroimaging developments, in biological research and diagnostics, demand an edge-defined and noise-free MRI scans. Thus, this study presents a generalized parallel 2-D MRI filtering algorithm with their FPGA-based implementation in a single unified architecture. The parallel 2-D MRI filtering algorithms are Edge, Sobel X, Sobel Y, Sobel X-Y, Blur, Smooth, Sharpen, Gaussian and Beta (HYB). Then, the … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 4 · 20 Feb 2012 · 8,024 accessesView PDFCite
