Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleComparative Study of Two Reactive Routing Protocols with Realistic Mobility ModelJohn Tengviel, Agyemang SylvesterA Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) are dynamic wireless networks that can be formed without the need for any existing infrastructure in which each node can act as a host as well as a router. One of the main challenges of MANETs is the design of robust routing protocols that adapt to the frequent and randomly changing network topology. A variety … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 4 · 21 Dec 2020 · 6,231 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Comprehensive Analysis of Simulated results for the Performance of AODV and TORA Routing Protocols in Mobile Ad-hoc NetworksVelmurugan Thambusamy, Navitha SrinivasanA Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is underpinning less system of movable devices connected by wireless links. Every device in MANET moves arbitrarily on any path with no impediments and this free movement helps in transforming its links to new devices promptly and unpredictably. MANETs do not require a predefined arrangement or centralized administration to interconnect with each other. This research … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 4 · 2 May 2019 · 7,473 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleVANET Routing Protocols and Architectures: An OverviewAnas Abu TalebVAVETs have become an interesting area of research since vehicles can be equipped with sensors, processing and communication devices. As a result, various life changing application emerged in different areas such as safety and public services. VANETs are considered as a subclass of Ad hoc networks. However, they have special characteristics that differentiates them such as QoS requirements, privacy, safety … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 3 · 30 Mar 2018 · 8,161 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAd Hoc Mobile Wireless Networks Routing Protocols - A ReviewGeetha Jayakumar, G. GopinathMobile ad hoc networks(MANET) represent complex distributed systems that comprise wireless mobile nodes that can freely and dynamically self organize into arbitrary and temporary ad-hoc network topologies, allowing people and devices to seamlessly internet work in areas with no preexisting communication infrastructure e.g., disaster recovery environments. An ad-hoc network is not a new one, having been around in various forms … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2007 · 115,241 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEstrous Synchronization Protocols in South African Merino EwesNhlakanipho Sam Zulu, Fhulufhelo Vincent Ramukhithi, Khoboso Christine LehloenyaThe South African Merino breed is the most important sheep breed in South Africa due to its superior wool quality. With an increasing wool demand from China and Europe, the need for wool production in South Africa has risen significantly. To meet this high demand, it is crucial to enhance the reproduction rate of the Merino sheep using assisted reproduction … …American Journal of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Vol. 20, Issue 1 · 29 Jan 2025 · 7,007 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Secure Unicast/Multicast Authentication and Key Distribution Protocols for Smart GridSamah Mohamed Sayed, Heba Kamal Aslan, Ayman Mohamed HassanThis study discusses the problem of key distribution protocol in IoT systems especially smart grids for two modes of communication: Unicast and multicast. In the present paper, we suggested two protocols for key distribution for both unicast and multicast communication. The proposed schemes are based on symmetric key encryption with cryptographic primitives: Hashes and nonces. In addition, the multicast key … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 15, Issue 4 · 4 Jan 2023 · 5,424 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEnhancing the Performance of Wireless Routing Protocols of MANET using AIYahia Hasan JazyahThe main goal of Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is connecting mobile devices directly without central point (peer to peer), which makes it popular area of research. MANET is running using routing protocols that enable mobile devices (nodes) to communicate to each other. Different types of routing protocols have been designed that depend on different strategies in order to establish … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 17, Issue 10 · 28 Oct 2021 · 6,407 accessesView PDFCite
