Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleWireless Control of Vehicle Mirror System Using Head Movement and PIC MicrocontrollerNidal F. Shilbayeh, Mahmoud Z. IskandaraniA PIC controlled IR system for the control car mirror system movement is designed and implemented. The designed and built system allows the side view mirrors to be adjusted based on the driver head movement. The infrared based head tracking system maps a predetermined coordinates for head movements and results in a triangularly computable geometry which is fed to the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2005 · 6,880 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsSimulation and Implementation of Quasi Resonant DC-DC ConverterP. Parvathy, N. DevarajanProblem statement: A half-bridge LLC resonant converter with a voltage doubler rectifier has a simple structure and its Zero-Voltage-Switching (ZVS) capability is excellent from zero to full load condition. But conduction loss is more due to high circulating energy thus reducing the system efficiency. Moreover a variable frequency control method makes the control circuits more complicated than those using the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 10 · 29 Aug 2012 · 7,142 accessesView PDF Cite

ShilbayehA PIC controlled IR system for the control of vehicle side mirror system movements for the purpose of revealing blind spots is designed and implemented. The designed and built system allows the side view mirrors to be adjusted based on the driver head movement. The infrared-based head tracking system maps a predetermined coordinates for head movements and results in a … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2008 · 6,697 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDevelopment of an Algorithm for Fiber-to-the-Home Passive Optical Network Automatic Self-restoration Scheme Using Access Control SystemMohammad Syuhaimi Ab-Rahman, Siti Raihan Ahmad MahirProblem statement: Cables that are installed outdoors are subjected to harsh environmental conditions which make break down inevitable. When this happen it will disrupt the services and cause trouble to the users. To overcome this is to provide a means of restoring the network in case of failure. We introduced the Access Control System (ACS) and Customer Access Protection Unit … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 12 · 19 Oct 2011 · 6,899 accessesView PDF Cite
