Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsMulticast-Supported Fast Handover for Proxy Mobile IPv6V. Berlin Hency, D. SridharanProxy Mobile IPv6 is a network-based mobility management protocol which is attractive as it does not require the participation of mobile nodes in mobility-related signaling. Unlike the host based approaches like Mobile IPv6, in PMIPv6 the Mobility Access Gateway (MAG) is responsible for tracking the movements of Mobile Node (MN) and to initiate the handover process. In this study, a … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 3 · 27 Apr 2013 · 6,309 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsMobile Ad Hoc Network Security for Reactive Routing Protocol with Node Reputation SchemeA. Suresh, Dr. K. DuraiswamyThe mobile node’s reputation in the Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) identifies its trust worthiness for secured multiple data communication. Unknown nature of the node’s communication status for initial period has great impact in the effective data transfer as MANET is self-organized and distributed. Problem statement: The functional operation of the mobile network relies on the trusty cooperation between the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 2 · 25 Feb 2011 · 6,992 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEMERGING TRENDS IN ADAPTIVE COMPUTATION FOR MOBIQUITOUS SYSTEMSJesus FriginalThe future is in networked embedded systems. This affirmation is based on the principle that networked embedded systems will make possible the development of more intelligent living, work, entertainment, energy production systems and transport environments. It is estimated that the number of networked smart objects on a planetary scale will increase beyond20 billion units by 2020, thus promoting the emergence … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 11 · 19 Aug 2014 · 8,315 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractNETWORK MOBILITY SUPPORTED PROXY MOBILE IPV6Ananthi Jebaseeli SamuelRaj, Sundararajan Jayapal, Vijayaraghavan VaradharajanProxy Mobile IPV6 (PMIPV6) is a network-based mobility management protocol, designed to keep track of individual mobile node's movement. So a mobile node can easily roam in PMIPV6 network without changing it's IP address. Network Mobility-Basic Support Protocol (NEMO-BSP), based on MIPV6, is the protocol designed for mobility management of NEMO in MPIV6 network. But NEMO-BSP cannot be directly used … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 9 · 26 Apr 2014 · 6,638 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractTacit Knowledge CodificationMarzanah A. Jabar, Fatimah Sidi, Mohd. Hasan SelamatProblem statement: In managing knowledge and competencies as a strategic advantage to an organization, there are difficulties in capturing, storing, sharing and reusing all this knowledge. Researchers have agreed that assessing tacit knowledge is difficult because knowhow of an employee are elusive and what more to assess them. It is compounded when employees leave the organization or become unavailable due … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 10 · 10 Aug 2010 · 10,223 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMPLS Based Architecture for Mobility and End-to-End QoS Support in Fourth Generation Mobile NetworksAlejandro Quintero, Eduardo Del FrutosProblem statement: Next-generation mobile networks are evolving towards network architectures relying entirely on IP. Approach: These networks had to be scalable in order to support future IP traffic, namely new multimedia services and real time applications, while providing an effective mobility management mechanism to cope with increasingly mobile users. In addition to global connectivity, next-generation mobile networks will have to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2009 · 7,691 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Review on Ultra Reliable and Low Latency Communications (PHY and MAC Layer Perspectives)Prinu Chacko Philip, Mohammed Abdel-HafezFifth Generation (5G) wireless network plays major attention in the communication scenario due to the advanced features in data transmission. 5G is designed to overcome the issues, such as data rate, reliability, throughput, latency and capacity in the wireless network domains. The 5G wire-less services aim to increase the data rate through massive communication services. In this survey, well known … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 8 · 1 Sep 2020 · 6,995 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordMESSAGE AUTHENTICATION CODE BASED SECURE GROUP KEY MANAGEMENT PROTOCOL FOR MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKST. Peer Meera Labbai, V. RajamaniA mobile ad hoc network is a group of nodes which are communicating with each other with the use of radio frequencies. When there is high movement of mobile nodes, the nodes find difficult to reach other nodes. If the data are exchanged between nodes when there is high mobility, the data may be lost in transit. Therefore the security … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 5 Sep 2013 · 6,732 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEnergy Aware Multiple Constraints Quality of Service Routing Protocol with Dynamic Mobility Prediction for Mobile Ad hoc NetworksSenthilkumar Maruthamuthu, Somasundaram SankaralingamProblem statement: This study presents a source based reactive protocol called "Energy Aware Multiple Constraints QoS Routing Protocol with Dynamic Mobility Prediction (EMQRPDM)" for MANET. It is an enhanced version of our previous protocol called "Power aware multiple QoS constraints routing protocol with mobility prediction (PMQRPMP)". It addresses the issues such as routing, mobility and power management in MANET. Approach: … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 6 · 14 Jun 2011 · 6,482 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordMobility Management for Seamless Information Flow in a Heterogeneous NetworksAdiline Macriga, AnandhakumarProblem statement: In the heterogeneous networks, generally the entire networks operating on the Radio Frequencies under wireless mode available for communication are brought under a single head based on their common operating procedures and functions. As a common mode the basic functions of the networks are requesting, tracing, sending, acknowledging, authenticating, authorizing, receiving, updating, forwarding, controlling, registering, managing.
