Generally considered as one of the several forms of smart antenna technology, it offers considerable increase in data throughput and link range without additional bandwidth or transmit power. The general idea involves the use of several antennas at the transmitter … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 3 · 29 Nov 2011 · 8,298 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractANALYSIS OF REDUCTION IN COMPLEXITY OF MULTIPLE INPUT- MULTIPLE OUTPUT-ORTHOGONAL FREQUENCY DIVISION MULTIPLEXING SYSTEMS WITH CARRIER FREQUENCY OFFSET ESTIMATION AND CORRECTIONSabitha Gauni, Kumar RamamoorthyOrthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a promising research area in Wireless Communication for high data rates. The Multiple Input-Multiple Output (MIMO) technology when incorporated with the OFDM system promise a significant boost in the performance. But, the MIMO-OFDM systems are very sensitive to Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO) as it deteriorates the system performance with the rise of Inter-Carrier-Interference (ICI). … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 2 · 13 Nov 2013 · 6,784 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPerformance Analysis of Discrete Wavelet Transform Based Multiple Input Multiple Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing System for Different Wavelets in Different Channel EnvironmentHariprasadNagarajan, AlameluNachiappanMultiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) are the two assuring technologies that offers high data rate as required for the 4G wireless systems. Conventionally OFDM is Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) based system. It uses IFFT (Inverse FFT) blocks in the transmitter and FFT blocks in the receiver. OFDM combined with MIMO gives increased throughput and … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 12 · 18 Oct 2013 · 6,616 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMultiple-Input Multiple-Output Transmission Over a Multipath Faded ChannelsI.A.Z. QatawnehThe use of multiple antennas at the transmitter as well as at the receiver can greatly improve the capacity of a wireless link when operating in a rich scattering environment. In such an arrangement all transmitting antennas radiate in the same frequency band so the overall spectral efficiency becomes very high. Such a multiple antenna scheme, popularly known as Multiple … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 11 Mar 2013 · 6,417 accessesView PDFCite
