Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Scalable Hierarchal Based Addressing Routing Architecture in Software Defined Network (SDN)Ahmed Gaber Abu Abd-Allah, Ashraf Zaki Ghalwash, Aya Sedky AdlySoftware Defined Networking (SDN) designs are initiated with their own apprehensions and challenges that are needed to be addressed by researchers. A Controller, the main and the dominant network resource in SDN, has complex connections that lead to traffic overhead between other devices in the network and also from and to other Controllers. A Controller’s capacity of communications obtains will … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 8 · 3 Sep 2020 · 6,469 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign of a Synchronous Reference Frame Controlled Fuzzy Logic Based Distribution Static Compensator to Enhance Distribution System Power QualityRekha Sampath, Lokesh Mallaiah, Ashwini A V et al.The demand for enhanced power quality in distribution systems has increased due to the widespread utilization of various AC loads, including rectifiers, inductive loads, and variable speed drives. When these nonlinear loads are combined with renewable energy sources, harmonics are introduced in the system. These can affect the way other equipment in the network works and leave the system vulnerable … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 2 · 27 Feb 2026 · 1,710 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractUniversal Singular Optimal Control: Affine SystemsAndres Gabriel Garcia, Juan Andrés Roteta LannesIn this study, the problem of finding an optimal controller for nonlinear systems with one input and a reference tracking signal is approached. With the problem's formulation, any desired signal can be tracked instantly with a closed-loop controller without the need for integral terms. Presentation lies at the heart of optimal control. This study, however, does not consider the integral … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 15, Issue 4 · 14 Dec 2022 · 5,452 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractIterative Feedforward Control for Bearing-Free Multibody SystemsNicola Y. Bailey, Christopher Lusty, Patrick S. KeoghAutomated machinery and robotics are commonly conventional multibody systems containing bearing components, which exhibit uncertain, discontinuous and complex tribological characteristics. These generate wear and fundamentally limit the precision of small scale motion due to the tribological effects being difficult to compensate for using model-based active control. However, they can be eliminated through the replacement of traditional bearing joints with flexure … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 5, Issue 1 · 6 Dec 2021 · 6,477 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMulti-Controlled Wheelchair for Upper Extremities DisabilityChadi F. RimanPeople with motor disabilities are trying to be more autonomous by using an electric wheelchair with a conventional joystick control. However, a problem arises when these people are suffering from upper extremities disability such as tetraplegia. Several methods were implemented such as voice control, chin control, eye-blink, sip-and-puff, but each has its advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, in some situations a … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 2, Issue 1 · 3 Dec 2018 · 7,244 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractLOW-COST STRATEGIES TO SAVE ENERGY IN K-12 SCHOOLSNabil Nassif, Raymond C. Tesiero III, Harmohindar Singh, K. M. FlurchickAdvanced Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) offer an excellent means of reducing energy consumption in Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems while maintaining and improving indoor environmental conditions. This can be achieved through the use of computational intelligence and optimization with a building automation system and multiple sensors, which can be quite expensive. However, energy awareness and proper scheduling … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 17 Mar 2014 · 8,157 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Unique Novel Approach for Design and Analysis of A Robust Decentralized Self-Tuning Fuzzy PI Controller for a Multi Input Multi Output ProcessP. Sujatha Therese, N. Kesavan NairProblem statement: In the real world most of the controlled processes in industries are Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) in nature. They have more than a single controlled variable that should be manipulated in order to achieve the desired control performance. Approach: Control of non linear Multi Input Multi Output processes, it is a difficult task because of the non stationary behaviour, substantial … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 3 · 17 Jan 2012 · 7,004 accessesView PDF Cite
