Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsFuzzy Logic Controller for Wireless Video TransmissionK. P. Rajesh, K. S. RamaswamiProblem statement: As the Variable Bit Rate (VBR) is high in MPEG, the video experienced long delay and unexpected data loss. In wireless channel, due to noise and interference of other signals transmission rate cannot be predicted. Approach: In this paper we proposed an intelligent fuzzy logic controller for transmission of Moving Picture Expert Group (MPEG-4) video signals over wireless … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 7 · 30 Jun 2011 · 6,950 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractBitrate Scalability for Multi-Pulse Based Code Excited Linear Prediction Speech CoderSuphattharachai Chomphan, Chutarat ChompunthProblem statement: The bitrate scalability is an important functionality that is defined in the Moving Picture Expert Group (MPEG-4) requirements. Since the traffic in a communication network varies with time, the capability of varying the bitrate of a speech coder is needed. Approach: This study proposes an approach to vary the bitrate by using a bitrate scalable tool which is … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 3 · 14 Jan 2012 · 7,035 accessesView PDF Cite
