Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleFeedback Control of Quad-Rotors with a Matlab-Based SimulatorStephen Armah, Sun Yi, Wonchang Choi, Dongchul ShinPrecise regulation of position and attitude (roll, pitch and yaw) is one of the most critical tasks to be considered in designing controllers for quadrotor types of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The MATLAB-based simulator for quadrotors using PD-feedback control to achieve stabilization was developed. MATLAB/Simulink models are used to design and validate the control algorithms and the simulation results are … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 6 · 23 Jun 2016 · 7,865 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTwo Optimization Methods to Determine the Rate Constants of a Complex Chemical Reaction Using FORTRAN and MATLABAbdel-Latif Aboul Seoud, Lamiaa A.M. AbdallahProblem statement: For chemical reactions, the determination of the rate constants is both very difficult and a time consuming process. The aim of this research was to develop computer programs for determining the rate constants for the general form of any complex reaction at a certain temperature. The development of such program can be very helpful in the control of … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2010 · 8,042 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA GUI-Enabled, Automated LSTM-Based Inverse Kinematics Pipeline for 6-DOF Robotic Arms Using MATLAB and CoppeliaSimWaleed Abdulrahman Saleh Al-Akwa, Mohammed Abdulwahab Ahmed DabaExisting deep learning-based inverse kinematics (IK) solutions often target specific robotic arms and require significant modifications when applied to different configurations. To support early-phase design and testing of 6-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) robotic arms, this study presents a fast and adaptable IK solution through a user-friendly interface. Unlike traditional numerical methods that are computationally intensive, sensitive to initial conditions, and may not … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 9, Issue 1 · 26 May 2025 · 8,252 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleRadar Cross Section Modelling and Analysis of Static and Dynamic Targets using MATLABPunam Pande, Sreemathy R, Mousami TurukRadar Cross Section (RCS) is an important characteristic of the electromagnetic system for target detection. This study presents detailed modelling of Radar Cross Section (RCS) of static simple objects like sphere, cylinder, triangular plate, circular flat plate, truncated cone and complex objects using MATLAB Radar toolbox. The RCS modelling of simple objects is also done with MATLAB POFACET GUI 4.3 … …Journal of Aircraft and Spacecraft Technology, Vol. 6, Issue 1 · 21 Mar 2022 · 11,024 accessesView PDFCite
