Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesOptimizing Mobile Edge Computing Efficiency through Multidimensional Generative Adversarial NetworkAnitha Premkumar, Sowmya Vemagal Lakshminarayana, Shankar Rajagopal et al.Big data Processing and the IoT have recently gained popularity as study topics in MEC and thorough research is sought for well-informed decisions. Mobile edge equipment, such as base stations, routers, and edge servers, usually have limited processing capabilities compared to traditional data centers. According to this perspective, this research constructs MEC using Intelligent Outlier Detection with a Multidimensional Generative … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 2 · 18 Jan 2025 · 4,692 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesAn Innovative Method for Recognizing Face Expressions Based on Genetic Algorithm and Extreme Learning Based Hybrid ModelTushar Dhar Shukla, Md Oqail Ahmad, Puneet Sapra et al.The detection of facial action coding system Action Units (AU) and other facial expressions has been a major focus of computer science for more than 20 years categorizing discrete emotional states based on facial expressions. While several widely used face expression databases exist, standardization and comparability remain key challenges. The lack of a universally recognized assessment procedure and insufficient information … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 2 · 18 Jan 2025 · 7,301 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesA Novel Optimized Machine Learning Approach for Early Prediction of Heart Disease Using Bio-Inspired AlgorithmsIndira Priyadarsini, I.S. Siva Rao, P. Swetha et al.This study presents a novel approach for early prediction of heart disease using bio-inspired optimization algorithms to select and optimize features. The proposed approach utilizes a Genetic Algorithm (GA), Bat Algorithm (BA), Bee Algorithm (BA), and Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) to optimize a set of four features for improved prediction accuracy. The optimization process aims to identify the most relevant … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 1 · 4 Dec 2024 · 5,235 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesAir Quality Interpretation of Four Geographically Distinct Hot Spot States of India-An Appraisal Using Aerosol Optical Depth and Particulate MatterJacob Joshua, Aishwarya Sathyachandran, Chenicherry House SujathaThe application of Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer-Aerosol Optical Depth (MODIS-AOD) for Air Quality (AQ) assessment has contributed significantly by making use of a spatiotemporal relationship between ground-level particulate matter and aerosol optical density at both city and state levels. Traditional ground-based site-specific particulate matter monitoring method has found a profound gap in their spatial coverage. Such challenging situations prevail over … …American Journal of Environmental Sciences, Vol. 18, Issue 6 · 8 Feb 2023 · 5,887 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesSoft Sensors for Monitoring Combustion Quality and Flue Gas Emissions in Power Station BoilersNallamilli P G Bhavani, Kesavan Sujatha, Ponmagal RajendranThis research work includes a combination of Fisher’s Linear Discriminant (FLD) analysis by merging Radial Basis Function (RBF) Network and Back Propagation Algorithm (BPA) for monitoring the combustion conditions of a coal fired boiler. The CCD Camera is used to capture the two dimensional flame images. The features such as images, average intensity, area, brightness and orientation etc., of the … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 15, Issue 1 · 7 Feb 2018 · 7,556 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesRecommendation Engine Formation Using Depth First Search and Genetic ApproachJ. S. Kanchana, S. SujathaThe requirement of online users in the website varies dynamically. The recommendation of web pages consisting of user expected information and data is performed by the online recommendation system. The recommendation engine must be self-adaptive and accurate. The existing algorithm uses Depth First Search (DFS) and bee's foraging approach to create navigation profiles by categorizing the current user activity. The … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 1 · 15 Sep 2014 · 7,347 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesSoft Clustering Based Exposition to Multiple Dictionary Bag of WordsK. S. Sujatha, B. VinodObject classification is a highly important area of computer vision and has many applications including robotics, searching images, face recognition, aiding visually impaired people, censoring images and many more. A new common method of classification that uses features is the Bag of Words approach. In this method a codebook of visual words is created using various clustering methods.
